When you watch these videos and see yourself in chat, during some of the most emotional moments. Seeing yourself as a kid not fully understanding what’s going on but also dealing with the same issues yourself. You just relate in a distorted way. You see how other people are treating him and feel like nobody’s qualified to tell me what’s real and what’s not because you know that exact same freedom and isolation he’s feeling. It felt like everyone was just playing games and nobody knew what chaos was really going on, so all the theories and scramble to figure out what he was thinking when you’ve already experienced it felt insulting to me at the time because as a kid in the same state as him, you had this distorted sense of feeling like he was okay, and people trying to understand made it worse because they made you feel crazy when you just knew for sure you were alright. Now, that same mentality is stuck in me where anything that remotely brings me back to these memories, or the stress I endured to keep up an image or fit in at school puts you back in that life or death feeling that creeps up on you without noticing. I myself have gone through the same things Etika did when it came to checking into hospitals for suicide watch in the exact same way, but the difference was that everything was managed by my mom because I was in school. As of the October Breakdown where I saw myself in chat, I was in 7th grade, 13 years old, and still to this day, the mentality I had struggling with mental health, before we’d seen any problems from Etika were only amplified by his death because I did so many of the same things and have been in so many thought patterns that were near-death that I thought it was okay because I related, and I sort-of mentally checked out.

Even though I am a persona fan, I don't really watch content about playing the game because I find it monotonous and boring because I have already played the games for myself. That being said, this was thuroughly entertaining. You and your friend are lively and just simply know HOW to be boring. I am surprised this channel is so small. Uhh... Aketchi is 1000% dead, not only did he only come back in third semester because of Maruki but also he VERY specifically states that he has a gap in his memory and that he never left Shido's palace. He also wholeheartedly belives that he did indeed die, they specifically emphasize how the pt feel awful after he disappeared after leaving the metaverse. All im saing is that it is so heavily implied (blatantly stated) and a lack of reasonable counterargument is more than enough to make me believe he just died after getting shot between the eyes

Etika is very intelligent, you can just tell by his vocabulary and the way that he can get to his audience, in moments like when he goes on a motivational rant, but the latter part could just be because he was drunk sometimes xD. He is great with helping people, and was able to connect with so many others. I really think he suffered from bi polar disorder though, like a good percentage of people also think he did. The deletion of EWNetwork, and several weeks prior to that was most likely a manic episode, and these can extend for months - which it did. I believe he may have suffered from a manic episode until his first stream back in February, where he was calmer, and more aware of what he had done deep down, of course not expressing his thoughts to the fullest. In my opinion, at this time, and also in the remainder of June, he was in a depressive episode. I think he really hated what he had done with uploading pornography and scaring people on social media with his posts, and he did not want to show it. The uploading of pornography in April was also definitely a manic episode, continuing with the twitter posts and whatnot. It was this constant jumping of regret and then feeling like you're on top of the world which was a giveaway that Etika was suffering. I believe in his final weeks (I hate saying that) he had snapped back, and regretted his decisions to the point where he felt compelled to take his life, thinking it was the only way to resolve this. What did not help was the hate he received from the internet, it planted a ticking time bomb in him. He was prone to hate, and addressed this on that one February stream, where he exploded when someone said he just streams for money. I strongly believe his mostly-shitty fanbase was responsible for the suffering he had to deal with. However, part also came from his mental illness, which made him susceptible to hate and trolls. One with the other, the mental illness and abhorrent fanbase destroyed him, but if his fanbase had never stooped to such low levels, and if the hate he received hadn't had ever been delivered, I think he would have gotten the help he needed. The hate and clown spamming bullshit was just fuel to feed a fire which could have been extinguished. And I am glad Etika shat on Keemstar as well xD. And to blame it all on the fanbase would be short-thinking, because Etika too needed help, and needed to help himself aswell, as he also realized, but bi polar is very hard to cure, as these manic episodes make a person believe they do not need treatment, because they feel 'fine'. But how can people be so horrible and neglectful towards a person they know is vulnreable...?
