2024, I wanted to fly MSFS in my home-cockpit and instead I'm enjoying these videos 😁! A lot of ppl think 'oh, 11 years, soooo old' and don't realize the best real photo-books are decades old. When I google for 'photo websites' I can only find crap like camera-reviews and WordPress modules and BS like that and NOTHING (!!!) about real photography. Such a shame! Real photographers with real photographic artistic feeling and tips are very rare these days. So thank you very much for this channel! I miss the days I've shot my Beirette rangefinder, where everything was manually set, including the distance. I've spent long years in the darkroom, full of excitement checking the still wet negative material hanging in the grandma's kitchen. Still today, I'm careful pressing the shutter on my phone, as I was paying so much for every frame back then. Greetings from Slovakia!

Setting up the diopter is one of the most important settings in a new DSLR, and this video is the best tutorial on that. Thank you, sir.

Since your video camera is on a tripod. Hang a simply silver reflector on the tripod below the camera to bounce some light back at you. Still not enough light, aim a torch into the reflector.

I feel the same way about videos that have titles saying, “Is such and such camera relevant today?” and they are talking about a camera less than 5 years old.

Great to come back and catch what I missed. As for the flight - it was a good one. It was taking me home after a long day in Melbourne for work. The beauty of being in an island state. Hi Mike, great examples you showed in the opening with the leading lines, your examples of the leading lines did make sense. Brandon having his Shadow in the scene was a good idea Mike i agree. Talking about leading lines, the EIFFEL TOWER LIFT SHAFT was very clever from Michelle, and a lovely photo. Sophie and the Wheatfield had great leading lines, and i liked that Blue colour of the Bird from Damian. Dave, Lars, Arthika, Sarah and that Black fence, James and the Coloured Vegetables, Beautiful Flower from Stella, and Denise in the Aeroplane, simplicity done well, everyone did a great job. Thanks very much Mike for presenting another great Creative Challenge as alway i thoroughly enjoyed it with my cup of Coffee. 😊

Dear Mike, everything you say may be correct. But if we're talking about pictures among photographers, then they should be shown in a reasonable resolution. I'm wiping my eyes, but the pictures you're showing are not sharp. For me as a photographer, it's very difficult to look at blurry photos.
