Companies have 2 or 3 platforms (chassis) and make 9 models 😂. It's a gimmick to make more money. Love Hondas but $5000 more you upgrade to Acura. Same company same chassis. Ford & GM do the same 😊.

Your nuts to pay these ridiculous gouging high prices..what ediot does this besides I dont like the looks of new trucks in the last 20 yrs...there way to big and bulky, made cheap and feel more like a boat. Ill take a 70,s and pre- 70,s truck hands down over any of these massive hunk of junk over priced newer titanic on 4 wheels trucks today. These new trucks are only really worth about 30K brand new. Not a dime more.

a Nissan Frontier gives you 2/3 of an F150's tow/haul and comes with a 3.8 V6 that has no turbo and gives 26mpg under light load. 2020's will be known as the era of "roid rage" pickups few people can afford and that even fewer need. If Big 3 want to survive, they will bring back basic full size pickups selling for under $40k.

Hi, this one is good and interesting. Just one comment to extended warranty. Never. Smart people never accept any extended warranty. (A Car, Phone, electronic appliance) This is the worst financial product ever brought to the public. Absolute scam. Who does win here? The seller and the Bank only, never the customer. It is a nicely wrapped rubbery.

Great video. You should have also included that when you go to buy that car that's been sitting on a lot for a year or more which my wife and I did years ago with a Honda Odyssey minivan the stealership tried to spin the loan to the full price as if it was brand new. They pulled the old send us into the veteran sales manager to make the deal. After my wife and I picked him apart for a while he realized we were not fools and we left.

The people that could actually afford the most expensive trucks are usually to smart to do so. Still driving the 18 year old, 2006 Frontier Crew 4x4 I paid $22K for new. Would rather have no debt and my money invested for additional income than a $75K-$100K+ vehicle...

I have a 2007 Tundra 5.7l, 150k miles. Had around a 700 dollar payment for 5 years - thought that was high then. Gotta say, glad it's in great shape because I'm not paying what they are wanting for trucks now - it's simply insane. Covid has had and will continue to have massive financial impact on the economy - manufacturers / employers were desperate for workers and wages went through the roof, plus the displayed absolute greed of some companies "Oh we're struggling because of covid, had to raise our prices, sorry" - yet, record profits. Things - like these trucks - are prices like EVERYONE got those insane covid wages - but folks - we didn't all get them. Truly, it's insane what they are asking for these trucks. When the wheels fall off my truck, I'll glue them back on if I have to - I'm not paying 80k for what was fairly recently a 40k truck. Send a message folks - don't buy a new overpriced vehicle. There is a very healthy and ready market for new trucks at around 50k - when manufacturers have to tighten their belts and incentivize their inventory - they'll find it. 70k for a base truck 130k for a "loaded truck" Seriously - they should be ashamed and embarrassed to price them that stupidly high - let them go out of business as they deserve it.

I don't know. Getting a RAM repossessed and not having to make that payment any more, might be one of the best things to happen to a guy. I wonder if people aren't just happily handing the keys to the repo man so he doesn't have to tow it. Remember: if the truck were worth enough, the owner would just sell it and pay off the loan. Repo trucks aren't worth what people owe on them.

The fact is, when pickups became so popular in the US with people who don't have construction businesses, a good truck, not a silly luxury model but a good truck that's still on the road today, cost around $25k converted to TODAY'S DOLLARS. A full size 4WD in the mid 2000s? $30k in today's dollars. There's always a niche market for expensive luxury, but this is not the mass market. Nearly all trucks are being sold as if there are endless customers for very expensive vehicles and no need for a solid, value priced truck. They can ask for these prices, but that doesn't mean they'll get them.
