Superb once again SimonC. Soundtrack👌. That's the first coverage I've seen from any of those covering the viaduct construction for the area south of it you've covered. Found the close up of the bridge section transporter vehicle fascinating. Looks to be semi - autonomous.

Towards the end there I thought you were going to lose your little flying buggy down the throat of Mr. Copthall, dear. Pulling out at the last minute is always the sensible option. Yeah, good scenes circa 6:30 with Sir Dom's landing strip in place and, on the right, the landscape 'adjustments' in full swing for the Ickenham substation. I agree about the satsuma people. It must have been fairly uncomfortable but that's probably addressed in their contracts. You and I are paying for them to swelter in all that fancy gear. Anyway, it was nice to see them running around while I was sitting on the patio gulping down gallons of perfectly cooled (very cheap) cider. The soundtrack works well with this. It could be a generic free-to-use piece or it could be by someone I've heard of. It's sometimes hard to tell. Keep 'em coming SIMONE ... 👍

I loved being able to see the huge concrete sections being moved by what looks like a special vehicle towards the crane for connection and then (later on), it will be dropped neatly onto the vertical columns or attached to the end of an already cantilevered section. Such clever engineering and assembly.

+In a Bond villian voice+ ... "We've been expecting you, Mr. C". Well done, sir ! You said you'd be there Tuesday because you knew it was going to be a big moment for the Dom. The last v-pier must be fully segmented now and Dom is resting while he contemplates the lurch forwards onto dry land. I presume he'll be wanting to get his hind leg onto the centre of the last v-pier and two-and-a-half piers onto dry land we can see another temporary platform for the front peg leg at some point. Keep us posted on that 👍 Gratuitous shots of a Spitfire are always welcome. It was, in my opinion, one of the three most beautiful aircraft this country ever produced: the others being Concorde and the Hawker Harrier jumper. Nice bit of trumpeteering on the soundtrack.
