Thanks for sharing your experience. We are in our 30 day trial trying to decide if we want to keep StarLink. We are in an RV and travel alot. In about 2 weeks we are going to be camping in some tall pine trees with some small open spaces. Your experience gives us hope that we will get usable speed. Even 2-3M down and 500K-1M will work for what we need. Thanks for the reporting.

Do you have an update after using it through the winter? I am considering starlink but we live in Lake Tahoe with LOTS of snow and trees.

@@outthereinit thank you so much!! Is there any chance I could maybe set up a quick call the you to ask mountain living specific questions about starlink experience? I have lived in Tahoe for 25+ years and I’m fed up with Spectrum services. I like the idea of this service but could really benefit from some specific scenario recommendations. I could send you video footage of our Tahoe property in advance. I so appreciate your response to my question and your love of Mtn. Living

Please help. Does anyone know what the name or kind of seal goes along the bottom edge? The seal that goes against the tailgate. My father's is wore out and I don't know what to search for.

I don’t have the answer for you but I would get in contact with a cap manufacturer. I bet a sales guy would be able to help.

If you cross and go to the southside of Pittsburgh there are plenty of food options and a bike shop at the Highline. You can connect to three rivers heritage trail through the color park.

I rode the full route in 35 hours (on a rigid surly ogre). I think it can be ridden faster as I was not efficient with resupplies. I have fond memories of hallucinating sea turtles as I climbed Rincon Redbox.

@joshuasmith1215Ай бұрын
Do you actually need the 12 inch mattress? Like, do you think it's better for heavier people as in they may sink in too far on the 6 inch mattress?

Good question. I prefer the 6” because there is less give too it.

So funny I had to chuckle when you mentioned SpaceX flat dish sustainable winds of 175 miles per hour. One of my concerns living in the tropics US territory of Puerto Rico is tropical winds of 75 mph and/or hurricane winds category 1 or above. Does canvas easily get mildew and mold on it once wet or do you have to store it a long time while damp/wet? Will drying it out as much as possible prevent it or is it just likely to happen?

Wow! What a great video. I stumbled on your feed and I've enjoyed both this video and the one in Southern Utah. I really enjoy watching your adventures. I only have one small comment-it would be awesome to know more about your riding partners. I think it's awesome you got to spend five days with your father. Would have loved to hear his thoughts on the bikepacking. Keep up the great work.

Spare parts should be ordered from a Chinese online store, e.g. a circuit breaker costs 50 cents. It's a good idea to replace that breaker with a low rocker model, they are also available as self-resetting, meaning that the ignition current comes back on after switching off. Starter rope wheels have sometimes been replaced with these, it costs about $1.50 in China. 🙂

03:11....yeah. don't start a $125 chainsaw like this. You are just asking for something to break. No wonder he ripped the toggle switch off the saw. Put it on the ground and give a couple of mellow pulls and it will start right up. This isn't a stihl. Good vid otherwise.
