4:08 I actually *can't* do this. When I lucid dream I have to propel the dream via conscious imagination, which sucks because I don't get new perspectives. It's why I hate when dreams become lucid. Maybe it's because I'm don't really fit into the creative vs rational dichotomy so the hemispheres of my brain don't have enough impedance during lucid dreams to be separate.

"All we see and seem, is but a dream within a dream." This famous quote makes perfect sense out of dreams, since "real life" is also just a dream. A varying degree of a dream, but still a dream nonetheless. Counsciousness is a giant hallucination that we call real life, simply because we all agree on it.

Watching videos like this and trying to understand human relationships like a science is the entirely wrong way to go about “getting girls” the best way to do it is focus on making your life just how you want it and find a woman to join you on your journey to what you want.

There is no science. It's as simple as the simplest thing. Ugly = no girl. Not ugly = girl. Actually scratch that, I mean not ugly = girl IF AND ONLY IF you have something else to offer, and then they'll ditch you for someone better anyway. Good-looking = the basis for girl.

i didn’t understand shit from this video, i actually understood wayyy more from the actual theory
I think, dreaming also processes information. I can do lucid dreaming, generally people tell me they can't read in their dreams, but I can, and when I notice that I can during one of my dreams, I am suddenly aware that I am in one and can manipulate it freely to how I want it to end before waking up. Another thing is, when I watch or am exposed to a certain language for a period of time(wherein I am not actively seeking to learn or understand the language), I sleep on it, I dream of speaking it and understanding the dream people speaking it, and the next day, I can suddenly understand the structure of that language and can understand it in its most basic form enough to not need subtitles or translations at times.

Ok so i ever since i can remember i always had the ability to dream explicitly in detail about moments in my life that have yet to happen kinda like dreaming the future which shouldnt be possible? Im not sure if im the only one that can do this but yea i have had multiple dreams of situations that didnt happen until years later in my life and i have zero explanation fot how my brain can do it lol
@StrangeScaryNewEngland15 сағат бұрын
Same here. Sometimes, the event happens that same day of the dream, or a little while after. As soon as it happens, though, it also triggers the feeling of Deja Vu, but your mind shoots back immediately to the dream. That's how you know it's not classic deja vu. There is something more going on, All we see and seem, is but a dream within a dream.

I always just assumed that your body isn’t awake all the way and isn’t asleep although so therefor your thoughts just become “dreams”. For example if I like apples then my brain would show me some apples the same way you might be awake and imagine an apple.

don’t get me wrong, this video is amazing. but I don’t think anyone will be able to comprehend how anything came into existence from the first place. Because everything comes from something, and so how did those tiny little things that you were talking about come to be from nothing? It’s so confusing to me, yet so cool
