I’ve read the original book, doing the workbook, and I’ve listened to the audiobook, and this was a very good summary of what the text is all about.

For headaches, add a good sea salt to you water, or use an electrolyte supplement. To get to ketosis sooner, eat a quality high protein and high fat diet the day or two before. To break a fast sugar and protein will be easiest, avoid fat, its very hard to digest after a fast.

Can you clarify your advice here with the video you created with Amylee Amos MS RDN about the Bredesen Protocol which explicitly identifies gluten as something to be avoided for individual with dementia or with increased risk of dementia due to genetics?

Can you please clarify her statement that APOE4 leads to a 90% risk of dementia? That does line up with my research. While the risk is certainly high, it’s more like 50-70% which makes a huge difference and lends support to the idea that lifestyle changes can have a positive impact. 90% sounds close to certainty.

It’s not the later you eat the hungrier you feel, it’s the more sugar you eat you activate the sugar demons in your stomach that makes you think you’re getting hunger pains. Sugar or carbs before a fast does that, better to have protein and healthy fats and you wont feel fake hunger pains or have a noisey stomach

Why don't doctors and dieticians describe required protein in terms of food servings? An average chicken breast contains roughly 40 grams of protein. For a 150 pound male, that's almost his entire RDA. That's information someone can take home and use.

I am on hour 48 and my second fast! I am here to tell you cravings are real but you are OK. You’re stronger than your cravings though and these teach you so much about discipline. You’re not actually hungry you’re just used to the crutch and dopamine hits from food. You can do it!

Completely uneducated and has no idea what she is talking about. This is the result of some knucklehead celebrity taking a trainer that they liked ( probably because she told her what she wanted to hear) and making them famous. Anyone educated in fitness knows TA is the worst in the industry. Not because she is just not smart BUT because she has been given a huge platform to share her ridiculous and sometimes dangerous ideas. She is infamous for putting women on super reduced calorie diets that lead to all types of issues. I guarantee You TA is weak as hell, she is a petite woman that doesn't eat and stays thin but far from healthy.

I'm on my 3rd day of water fasting and I think I can go more. In my opinion this is not so hard if you already had been practicing intermittent fasting and going all to nomad if you haven't experienced this is going to be hard. So first start with the intermittent fasting before the water fasting 🤔

This is crazy, how was this contra to the information that she shares? Does she not follow science based medicine? Fasting is very science space. Why is she calling it? Crazy? Why is she calling it out of the normal of what she shares? So she doesn’t usually share science based medicine?
