Thanks for your videos. My wife and I enjoy the same kind of trails that you routinely review. It has really helped us planning the more distant trips, like Virginia Creeper, etc. Your content is terrific but your varied taste in music is the cherry on top 🍒. We’re RVers, dog lovers, and e-bike enthusiasts. That combination will allow us to do more of it in the near future. Thanks again. By the way, keep the personality coming. We are SO much alike, it’s scary. Take care, Randy

Not so sure she was a true Karen. Sounds like a very concerned & protective foster parent. It’s unfortunate that they are so needed in the world today - but the good ones should not be vilified, they should be supported. I’m glad this all worked out in the end & I do not want to sound like I don’t approve of your actions, just the use of “Karen”

Thanks for sharing the video. I’ve never ridden that one. Yard art was unique. Hope to go there soon. Maybe even ride the train one day. Keep filming, hope you reach a million plus subscribers one day. Wish your Dad would get himself a trike and ride the bike trails with you. Y’all make a great team.

Thoughts? The frikkin liberals got Asheville Speedway closed down, and makes my ass red to this day! The effects you had from your selfie stick were absolutely CRAZY! Two thoughts from my 64 year old podium!

Happy Birthday to your Dad! Such a great video! We lived near the Delano area for about a year and attended church at Crossroads Baptist Church in Delano. It is beautiful but quite desolate there for sure. We now live in Chattanooga about an hour away. All your episodes are great but it was especially fun watching an episode that was filmed close to our home. Happy July 4th to you both🇺🇸

So I was in a hurry editing this one...and mistakes were made! It's Mineral Bluff, Georgia, NOT Mineral Ridge...and this train is part of the Tennessee Valley Railroad, NOT the Chattanooga Valley Railroad. OK? We good? Good! 😬

Thanks for another great vid! I have been saying Hiwassee wrong for about 30 plus years. Maybe it's a southern thing but I've always said and heard it pronounced HiAH-WASSEE 😂 I'm 64 years old and the changes of the past 4 years personally and in society are making me so nostalgic and craving the simple things and pleasures in life. Your channel helps me fill that void. Keep it up!!

Well, there is also a city named HIAWASSEE, Georgia that we passed thru on our drive. So maybe that's what you were referring to! Thanks for the kind words about the channel. I appreciate it. :)

❤😂❤😂❤😂❤😂❤😂❤ What a creep! That's a horrible situation! I feel so sorry for you! Funny too though! 👀🫣 I'm also an introvert. I don't like asking ppl questions either. I feel ppl will share what they feel comfortable with. I also don't want to hurt other ppls feelings or make others feel awkward, so I know exactly how you're feeling! I would also be trying to just be neutral, but screaming inside and just want to run away! Gosh, I would love to meet you on a bike ride! You could be my bike buddy! 😇🫣💐

@@joyfultrails well then, I should live to be well into my 90's! Having 3 generations on my Dad's side to live to or past 92 gives me a great start. Seriously, my parents are 92 and 87 (in September)....I pray that I am active and going like your dad when I'm his age.

How did you get those shots from the top of the train car?
@joyfultrails
@joyfultrails 5 күн бұрын
Not many people know this, but I am an action and adventure movie star. So I opened the window and climbed out on top of the train like Indiana Jones. 😂 Ha ha… No, there were windows, since we were in what they called the globe car, there were windows that I could shoot through, that overlooked the train. I wish they would clean the windows better. They were pretty dirty!

Thanks! Oh man, I would love to ride those trains out west! The problem would be getting there and back. If you don’t have money on hand to fly, it’s a pretty long drive from South Carolina. 😬

With all the talk about certain politician's age issue, i keep saying it is not the age, it is the mental and physical condition and your pop is a perfect example of being an active/health person into your late 80's and even 90's, living a great life.

I don't usually comment; but here goes: rode this trail in 2014. I was 64 yrs old. I've ridden RAGBRAI and many week long tours and rails-to-trails. So I was in great shape. I had an RV and would travel to trails and ride. This one was and is one of my favorites. There is an RV park past White Top at the border. The trail further degrades and is over grown past the border. Drove there, then rode down to Damascus and back. On the way back, I didn't take enough water. I saw a couple outside their house and asked them for water. They were more than nice. Then found an RV park in Damascus, and rode to Abington and back. One of the trestle bridges was not yet complete so it was get off and walk. Some of the places pointed out did not exist. It was in June and the Appalachian trail festival was happening in Damascus.The place was packed. Found my way to a bar and to my surprise the Tour de France was on the TV. I was in Heaven. Your videos are perfect; photography excellent; music tasteful. Being on radio has been a plus when listening to you. Thank you, keep up the good work. BTW ALWAYS wear your helmet. After a while you won't feel right without it.
