How is it holding up?
@Iowa599
@Iowa599 9 күн бұрын
i did it by mounting the engine above & behind the axle, after rotating the transaxle 90°, so the input was horizontal. I then connected the two with a 1000rpm centrifugal clutch & #35 chain. it went over 25mph with a stock Predator 212.

Any pics? Maybe an explanation video?
@Iowa599

A few pics, but I sold it, last year...youtube allowed photo uploads for discussions years ago, but not now :( Every part of the engine mount was originally on the mower, hanging the deck. IMO, JD just put it together wrong. I also dropped the front axle & stretched the wheelbase, all the way. & moved the hood mounts forward 6" & down 4". The grill was oem, but moved up 4" & the headlights were deleted.

Love the crashes. This is actually brilliant for landowners with trails. Keep chainsaw with you and have the power. I’ve got the 80v chainsaw but same idea. They also make a 6” hand chainsaw I keep in the Polaris.

This is such an elegant solution. I went and got a 1.5 inch hole saw kit at Walmart got $8. Used a hose I already had. Thank you!

That is great!! You could swap the chainsaw for a newer, more powerful greenworks and get twice the power and almost twice the speed!!! All you have to do is bolt on a different greenworks. Love it!

static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10221812-9999.pdf Thanks for the Video. So I bought my part from the dealer the OEM part that they sell you is different and needs a new harness . to make it more difficult they changed the wiring pattern. The pdf shows you where the wires go

Great vid, but my bed is rusted on and difficult to remove. Does anyone make a bolt-on shock mount, and then I could just run a couple of small MIG beads on the underside, where it's easy to weld????????????
