I definitely would prefer if we didn't have to collect the ectoplasm every time we wanted to fight Haunt. I feel like after the initial quest we should be able to just fast travel there and save quit to fight him.

I'm not gonna lie, the event was overhyped for the amount of grind required for the new legendaries and the fetch quest needed to return to heck every time.

Things that can apply a single terror will be the best. Many anointed effects don’t scale off terror so long as you have at least 1 stack. And thus are terrified but unaffected, and after the event that will be the best way to use these.

The Snowball's Chance in Heck quest made me want to gouge my eyes out because it's so obnoxious

See, they need to explain what all the effects do up in front. When you were explaining Amara's ability to fling a skull on Phasegrasp, I tried for 20 minutes yesterday to do it and didn't know you had to be terrorized. Glad you're around, buddy.

I'm just happy that double the Bank space will happen ~Next Week, because it was hard to choose an anointed The Boring Gun with 100% damage after Action Skill End and an anointed One Pump Chump with 100% Damage after Action Skill End.

The ammo regeneration can also appear on shields giving the regeneration to any weapon to any weapon equipped. Pretty nice with the extra 50% damage as an element for 2 magazine effect on a weapon

Step 1: play amara Step 2: equip a grenade mod or shield which applies terror upon your action skill ending Step 3: pick a piece of equipment with your favorite terror effect Step 4: spam your action skill at the ground Make sure you're using phasegrasp. I dont know a lot about the other action skills in this game, but any skill you get back immediately if you don't target something with it would work

Stack these anoints! Apply Terror on action skill end GRENADE, Ammo regeneration SHIELD, Damage and Fire Rate or Crit boost weapons. Try it out with your weapon focused builds.

I know there is a better way to stack terror, but the apply terror anointment is really good with Fl4k’s rakk attack action skill!

The extra shot on terror is far more effective than you realize. It stacks with all 3 stages and has, in my experience, a very good chance to activate.

This is a very good video and quite informative BUT(you knew this was coming) you only mentioned the effects on weapons. I have a problem with you cutting out the rest of the gear having it as it'll leave your viewers the impression that you can ONLY get them on weapons. I have for example seen a shield with ammo regeneration when using terror, which works on ANY that you've got equipped in your hand and using at the moment. The terror over time effect I've seen in weapons, grenades and shields which makes it useful if you're trying to have Ghast boosted by terror or your legendary ghost- covered shotgun which will add up to 3 extra pellets in terror, making a x4 shotgun become a x7 for that time by using a shield with the terror over time generation. This leaves you with weapons being boosted instead of switching to that said weapon for the effect. That said, I would have put that higher up on the list because if you're going to be using terror weapons or terror builds then it becomes essential.

Think you touched on what may be the strongest benefit to the terror effects, or rather where and how to use it, if you equip a self terror after action skill, in either of the two passive slots (grenade/Shield tested and they do effect every wep with the effects), you can then choose one of the better perks for the other. This offers longevity and a practical application after the event. Example self fear + a 15% damage and fire rate that's a big overall dps lift for some of the higher weps, or health regen which would kick in after your skill goes off when your most vulnerable, or crit again when you need a passive boost after your talents are down raising your overall dps, bye the way does the elemental boost artefact boos Terror to ?

The Terror mechanic is really cool and there's some really good synergies that can really crank up the power of your builds. And pending whether this mechanic does stay after the event the Self-Terror anoint is probably the single most useful of the bunch.

Terror crit build on Fl4k/terror tank(health restoration) and general damage on Amara both seem super powerful and super sick :D

Here's a little tip for all the Amara players reading the comments :D I found my favorite build on her is with these terror skulls when phasegrasping. Use the phase grasp that chainlinks enemies and stack the skull effect as much as you can! For excample grenade and weapon shooting skulls and shield generating terror. Gain terror, grasp an enemy, see the skulls flying towords the enemy, watch every enemy explode! :D (only downside: when cryo damage is nerfed by mayham it's slightly weaker)

i am trying to build a melee based elemental terror amara atm. so far it seems promising, when you can apply it (terror debuff) to yourself constantly.

I got lucky, I found a Grenade that gives me the damage boost and attack speed effect and a shield that applies that terror on action end effect. So Rakk Fl4k build allows me to build terror fast and abuse the bonuses. And yes, even though the terror annointment is on the grenade, it works on the gun you are currently holding!

Your list would change if you knew the perfect combination of the new anointed effects so let me help you... You want "Terror Genorator" and "Ammo Regen" on your NADE and SHIELD then take your pick on whatever weapon anointment you like. Tip use large magazine capacity weapons and never have to reload again. Also this combo works best on Phasegrasp Amara.

Got a shield that lets me induce terror after action skill and a grenade that increases dmg and fire rate so my terror build is lit 👌

Theres a really neat trick with Zane not many people know about but if you activate any of his action skills and immediately go to the echo menu then it will cancel the activation but will still be registered as a full activation bascially giving you the effects of things like annointed abilites, Seein red, his class mod, etc. Its really great.

the 50% cryo is better than extra projectile on terror effect. The proc rate is not really that high. There are times that extra projectile did not proc after 7+ shots. Rarely it procs consecutively. Compare to 50% cyro bonus, for every two bullets you basically deal an additional bullet damage since the 50% damage is base on the main gun damage. So if main gun deals 1k...the cyro will deal 500 dmg. . The only time cyro is bad when vs monster immune to cryo damage.

Do they stack? If i have the same effect on lets say a granade and a weapon.

I got an anointed nagata grenade tha says when i phasegrasp an enemy, we release a magic skull that deals 3k damage on that enemy. It doesn't work.

Anyone know, once they beat the game once, how they can just go wherever they want to in the game? I'd like to go to that area of Pandora that doesn't open til later in the game, but my options are to play all the way through the main story again, or keep clicking on the matchmaking campaign tab in hopes of being dropped back into the game at a later point that I'm currently at, but that risks me getting stuck redoing stuff I've already done if the game dumps me at an earlier point. It's gotta be easier than this. This game is janky.

I don't love having the terror based weapons taking the preference over the standard weapons. Kind of wish there were the option to have these drops turned off. I don't love it personally but for a free update I guess they could have done worse.

I feel kinda underwhelmed about this Halloween event tbh, hopefully the game will get a proper DLC maybe next halloween, terror is pretty annoying and not really fun to play with, the mission isn't really fun like BL2's Halloween headhunter was with the whole TK Baha's dialogue and the way you went around the map smashing pumpkins and finding hidden TVs for a little Easter egg, the atmosphere and music in BL2 was much more Halloween-ish honestly. I just didn't really enjoy the te-skinned Athenas as much as I thought I would, but I can't say I disliked it, it's more Borderlands so I can't complain

The big question is: Will this anointed terror weapons be a temporary thing or do they stay that way after December 5th?
