(wife typing) Remember that vegan diets can be unhealthy if you add a lot of oil to your cooking and tend to eat processed vegan food. I use these recipe ideas as a guide but cut a lot of the fat out. IF you are interested try visiting nutritionfacts.org and sites like Dr. McDougall, Healthy Hunnies (high starch whole food plant-based diet), HIgh Carb Hannah,etc.

@@Greencloud8 it's not the taste that driven most people away from meat, otherwise it wouldn't be so hard to quit. For those (including myself) this is heaven! See it this way, you can count these all to veggies. So what would you rather have. A dry salad or a salad that taste like delicious meat?

For the vegan fried chicken I would add some Organic Poultry Seasoning , and yes there are vegan brands of poultry seasonings, to further authenticate the taste of fried chicken, especially for those like myself who are transitioning into a vegan lifestyle. Other than that it’s a Great recipe! 👍🏼

My husband and I made the fried "chickn" and it was delicious! My husband brought some in for his co-workers who always say that they could never go vegan, and they all loved it. Our Thanksgiving last year involved a few Bosh recipes. We will be making some of these in the video next.

I just made the "pulled pork"! Though I did leave out the BBQ sauce, as I found it tastier and meatier without it. But boyyyy is it de-li-cious!! It tastes almost scarily like meat and is absolutely perfect for my savory cravings! Thanks, I can't wait to try the other ones!! ♥

Maroxa I don’t mean to be rude but sorry... what ? A vegan diet is one of the most inexpensive ones to ever exist as it consists of fruit, vegetables, grains and legumes. All of those things cost little money, especially if you bulk buy. The only expensive vegan foods out there are the alternatives to meat and cheese, but in all honesty they’re unnecessary and you can have them as treats.

Alphom Delirium I’m well aware of that but she said that vegan food in general so I was correcting her misinformed self. Vegan processed food is becoming cheaper and far more readily available more and more nowadays and it’s being treated as the normality. Vegan meats in my opinion cost as much as regular meat so there’s no loss there, vegan ‘dairy’ alternatives are maybe 25p-50p more expensive but it’s non negligible honestly :).

These non-meat meat entrees looked so good! I want to try my hand at a few of these dishes. Question, could you move the ingredients to the mid left corner instead of the top right or change the font color? Sometimes the food displayed is right under the name of the recipe's ingredient so it's a little harder to make out the ingredient listed. I watch these vids on my phone. It looks good, I'm not vegan, if it tastes good it doesnt matter if it has meat or not to me. I have to say though, this is like watching a master sculptor, you are really good at making it look like the meat dish you want it to replicate.

Lol I noticed it too and idk if I did something wrong but the texture is a bit chewier (stretchier) than expected. But the flavor was awesome. I used sundries tomatoes and bbq sundries tomatoes with a few grape tomatoes instead of tomatoes purée ... I don’t think that could have effected the texture that much though

I loved your use of jack-fruit. I've only ever had it curried and pickled before. your video is excellent, right to the point with no BS. your recipes ideas are great! thanks for posting. FYI Worcestershire sauce has Anchovies in it.

Well, regarding supplements like B12, kruidvat has a lot of vitamines, including B12, or Holland and Barret: that's where I currently got mine. About good products, Albert Heijn, Colruyt, and any major supermarket should usually have a few good vegan products, and obviously, bio-shops will probably have a few things aswell. Atleast that is how it concerns for me here in Ghent, I have no idea about Brussels, but I don't see why they wouldn't have it ^^ I also suggest joining Facebook groups, they often post, share and answer all the questions you have :)

I want to go on a vegan diet for a week! I've been considering it for a while. I've always been a really picky eater so I've been collecting vegan recipes that I might like. I've tried a few here and there and haven't had much luck yet. I think what's key for me is not having to do a bunch of substitutions (e.g.. the vegan steak in this recipe. Looks awesome but uses a lot of substitute stuff that I haven't heard of or worked with)

I can respect this video and and the fact this was made in 2018 is increduile. We have got vegan chicken, vegan burgers, vegan sausages, and much more in 2022 which shows how much we evolved with vegan meat. I will defitnely use some of the recipies like the pork and steak maybe even the ribs. thanks a lot

It's not because we don't like the taste of meat it's because we want the same flavours we miss growing up WITHOUT THE CRUELTY involved! Very simple.
