In this video I wanted to try a floating bloom with a softer background swipe than what I normally do. I hope this video is helpful and inspiring for you and you enjoy watching this half as much as I enjoyed creating it!

PM to Paint measurement (ESTIMATE!):
1.5oz (45ml) PM to between 1/4 tsp (1.25ml) to a 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) paint to start. If too thin add a little more paint (or even a gel gloss), if too thick add a little more PM to thin more.

This is one of your best in my opinion. I, too, gravitate to the dark side, but the subtlety of this background is outstanding. Love your comment about a unicorn, it must have eaten Skittles. Oh, so pretty. This painting looks like an exotic flower from a tropical island. The education about your process is very detailed. I really enjoyed watching you create the bloom in the center. This is such a Jodie color palette lol I love it, the softer background really looks great I know I usually lean more towards chaotic but this worked out so well and I like that the bloom is a bit bigger on one side it just gives it a little something extra I'd so name this the calm before the storm bloom cuz of that shuttle background and the more dramatic bloom in the center as always great work girl!!

@@ThePaintedDreamer I'd love to see this color palette with one color switched I'd drop the purple and add a colbolt blue or something similar in it's place just to change up the pallet a bit cuz purple tends to take over but I do love the purple as well I'd just like to see something a bit different, I always reach for quin. Magenta every time I paint even when I say I'm not going to do it lol it's sorta become a crutch in a way so I'm trying to fade it out for a while if I can just to do something a bit different

I love it! And for once I have all these colors but the gold you put down first. And I feel like I am healed enough to paint again. I bet I have a gold close enough to try this. It's so pretty. You do such beautiful art. Thank you ♡ I was not sure what to do with maraschino either. Or Latte.

Thank you Brenda I’m so glad you liked it 🤗. That Maraschino and latte are growing on me a lot and have potential in a lot of different ways. The gold I mix up is more of a bright gold so I’m sure whatever you have will work fine or if you have more than one gold mix them to see what happens 🤗💜

Oh sure, the round lidded I get on Amazon, the square lidded I get from the fluid art company and then the ones I’ve been using lately for my cell activator the round ones come from Amazon. The two from Amazon are in my Amazon Storefront, link is below in the description box as well as the link to the fluid art company 🤗

Absolutely Gorgeous!!!!!! I love the Atelier pale gold CA. I’m still just using the basic Amsterdam black and white and would love to get out of my box and add some more options. Do you know if all the Atelier colors work as a CA?

Thank you Julie! I used the Amsterdam paints for so long myself I’m finally branching out with these Ateliers. I’ve used the white, black, pale gold and the Prussian blue with Aussie floetrol with much success. I have other colors but haven’t used them yet so we’ll see what happens when I do. I hear a lot of colors do work in this paint brand with the Aussie floetrol but there may always been one that doesn’t so I can’t answer definitively that all work 😊
