Wow, nice condition for a New York car! I also have a ‘67 RS. Also a New York car that was last on the road in 1984, I think. Complete basketcase when I bought it in 2005, and it didn’t help that it had to sit outside in the Pennsylvania weather for 13 years until I began the restoration. Subscribed to your channel and am working my way through your Camaro videos. Keep up the great content! It’s motivating me. 👍

i recently also purchased a december 66 rs/ss 350 car that is in terrible shape but so worth restoring . will be watching

Hey Chris Thanks for the comment I just watched your video, you definitely have an RS SS 350 4 Speed The codes say it’s Red with Black Vinyl Top, Rear Antenna, Console,Tape Player, Standard Black Interior Nice car restored :) Where do you live? Good morning! I was anxious to see how the totalled Camaro was coming on . I can see at 2mins 20 secs that it appears to have come to a stop . Is this temporary or have you had to have a rethink . I do recall that l thought you were repairing it "in house" but then you said you were getting someone to come and quote for the repairs. I wish l could have been there to repair it for you . It's just the kind of damage that most would shy away from but l would relish the challenge ! Unfortunately , (or maybe luckily !) I live across the pond and although l'm restoring an "e"type for myself l'm retired ! Tired being the operative word! I've been in the crash repair Industry for 51 years and the body's cried enough ! But l would loved to have done this beauty! Take care and stay safe.

Hi John, We have not given up on the red car. We will be moving it on to the frame rack probably next week sometime. I will be doing a video on that, so that should be interesting :)

My 67 Impala SS had a parchment interior. The crank knobs were white. I don't know about other years, but 67's had color matching knobs. All colors.

Argent Silver would be the factory Rallye Wheel color. But I'm guessing you already know this. Which shifter did it come with from the factory? Muncie or Hurst Thank You. My very first car was a 1968 Camaro. Nowhere as close to stock as yours but it did have a LT1 with Borg Warner T-10. Lets just say it was a mover 😏

Hi Flaxjay, No, I do everything myself with the exception of bodywork and paint, and I use a machine shop to do my heads.

I have a 67 RS/SS that has Deluxe interior. I can’t get the front door panel into the metal channel at the top. Do you know how wide that’s supposed to be? And is there a trick to get the door panel into the metal channel?

I see there's no crack on the body on the driver's side at the bottom of the small side window , at the bottom of the drip rail , score. Driver's door was not slammed .
