Looking good with the newly painted fuel tank on top , can't wait to hear the engine cranking for the first time .

Never in a million years would I think "O, my GSXR 750 engine is so far gone.....let's put a 1200 bandit in it". A plethora of knowledge. Can't wait to hear it start.

As soon as she was back on her wheels, fantastic...I hope you checked the valve clearances before installing though

That’s coming along great. Not sure if this is final assembly but did you check the valve clearance?

Looks great. Do you believe you can get the valve cover off with the engine installed. Not sure whether this particular bike is going to be a display unit or one to be ridden and requiring periodic valve adjustments. Seeing your results I'm sure viewers will try to replicate what you have done, Why wouldn't they. A little clarification now would help enormously

I think so , I read from others that have swapped the B12 in that it does come off but is very tight

I bought a little sub loom from eBay that has built in relays, it plugs into the standard loom and all you need is a battery live and an earth. I’ll see if I can find the item number…

If you use two 35 watt headlight bulbs, you shouldn't need to install a relay for the headlights.

Thanks engine is in. Far easier to remove the pan than the valve cover. The valve cover is a very tight fit with a B12 in that frame .
