The 3.6 in pretty much everything except the 4 speed grand cherokee is impressively fast especially the mini van and the Chrysler 200 with the v6

I raced my father in law's Chevy with the 5.3 and I left him like he was in park lol. The V6 Ram is pretty quick.

The OP is tight lipped on what this Ram is.............. It may have some mods like a Coil pack or maybe a catback system. But it runs very nice.

i have a 18 qc 4x4 3.6. Although i think it's kinda senseless to judge a truck on it's 0-60 time, these are pretty quick, for a 220 cubic inch engine in a 5000+ lb truck. IMO it's very well suited for 90% of users needs, mine is rated to tow 7400lbs, at that weight i think the little guy would be struggling. i've towed about 3000lbs, and that was no problem at all, but if you are regularly towing a big boat or camper, i will concede the hemi or ecodiesel are probably a better choice.But i have to wonder how many of the people who write this engine off as no good or not adequate for the ram have ever driven one. I remember owning lots of older v6 inine6 v8 gas and diesel trucks that would be left in the dust by my Ram.

My 14 Ram 3.6 is all the truck i need, and 22-23 MPG hwy. Try that with most trucks!

I got the same thing, mine has the 8speed with 3.55 in the rear end and breaks the tires loose so I’m assuming this truck has the same

It almost running as fast as my 400HP 470lbs 3.5ecoboost 10speed auto that’s a very far almost but u don’t get more better gearing than that 10speed especially470lbs of Torque pushing it

I just purchased a 2018 Dodge Ram 3.6 it doesn't sound anything like that one. I guess he's added some aftermarket who knows what? mine actually ran slightly over seven seconds which surprised the heck out of me because my BMW 325 just Beats that. so for whoever posted this vid=i would like to know what aftermarket work you've done it sounds nice would like to get that sound

I've had a 2016 and a 2019, on the 16 you can feel more the torque than the 19, both of them 3.6 and no it's not on a downhill, i got pretty much the same result on almost sea level, not sure the location of the video

Dave Crocket most stock hemi run 7sec 0-60 from what I’ve seen some around6- 6.5 with a taller rear end and 8speed I didn’t say this particular 3.6 out ran but is almost as fast in which most of the ram 3.6 I’ve seen 0-60 a sec or more slower than this particular one I believe this one has been upgraded with performance tuning and bolt on

@@williamchapman2434 I see what you're saying now. Yes, this thing ripped pretty good for a V6. Most of the V6 rams I've seen are doing 0-60 in about 8.5 seconds, give or take a little. But again, it may depend on what gearing is in the the rear end. I wish the OP would chime in on this.
