Winter Tahr hunt in New Zealand, Snow and huge mountains don't stop the 6.5 Creedmoor getting a beautiful trophy. Bull Tahr are magnificent creatures but they are an introduced feral pest in NZ and are hunted year round to keep the numbers in check. #nzhunting #longrangeshooting #longrangehunting

@@erichuntter2437 i grew up in the Highlands near Ullapool. Stunning place but NZ would be the best spot in the world I reckon for hunting. No seasons or limits and so many different introduced species. I can shot wallaby, deer, chamois, pig and Tahr in a single day

😎saludos desde chile magnico tiro sobre todo por el terreno em que esta cazando en las montañas se producen corrientes fuertes que desvian las balas y muchas veces los tiros se hacen o muy arriba o muy abajo casi nunca horizontal por lo tanto es dificil hacer un disparo directo y en ese sentido usted lo ha hecho magnifico 👏👏👏👍👍👍

Great hunt mate. As a lefty myself. Was always using rh bolt action lever action or break barrel rifles. Looking for a left handed bolt action hunting rifle now. Any recomantation plz? Cheers

Thank you! And thank you for watching as it's hard to get KZfaq to promote hunting stuff these days.. I use a Remington m700 in 7mm rem mag and also a tikka in 6mm Creedmoor. Both guns I hand load the hornady ELDm bullet for long range hunting. We use as much meat as possible but due to the huge numbers here and no predators, some have to be culled to control numbers. Sadly our government spends millions on poisons which is a real waste and terrible way to die

I believe a tough under 13" which is the accepted "trophy" standard. For Wayne it maybe the only bull Tahr he worked his guts out to get, so to him it's a trophy of a lifetime
