Hey man, I just started watching your videos and this one really hit me. I'm currently taking wellbutrin 150, and the 2nd week is making me lose hope. I feel really numb to everything. I'm gonna keep pushing but it's a struggle 😪.

Take the Zoloft at night!! I’ve taken Zoloft for a year now and always took at night. It definitely makes you sleepy. I started at 50 mg and gradually upped it to 150mg. It worked pretty well for me for a while but began to notice I felt too numb to my emotions. Not terrible, but more than I would like and depression symptoms have started to return. So I am currently weaning off Zoloft and am about to start Wellbutrin. That’s how I came across your vids! You’re hilarious btw 😂. Hang in there! Praying for your journey!

Thank you, thank you for this amazing comment!!!✨✨✨ I’ve been taking Zoloft for a little over a year now but taking it at night was a complete and utter game changer!! 100% absolutely right! i’m hoping for you the very best on your mental health journey. Wellbutrin was a pretty wild ride at the beginning, But I kind of enjoyed it all the way from the beginning. the only terrible thing was just I could not sleep insomnia. It was so bad but eventually eventually that went away and I can sleep much much more easily now! thank you for your prayers encouragement. I really appreciate it!!!

Zoloft is wonderful. I took it for many many years. 10 or 15 . I was stupid and stopped meds. Good for two years. Then recurring major depression and GAD generalized anxiety disorder. Now I take trintellix and buspirone for two years now. Works good. Blessings ❤️

@@robertmakesashow7089 trintellix works good but there's no generic. Even with insurance it's 70$ a bottle. When I was in hospital with appendix they didn't have any to give me. So I wouldn't recommend it.

I’ve been on Zoloft, Citalopram, Fluoxetine and lamotrigine. (I forget the brand names.) I was diagnosed with depression and general anxiety disorder. Never tried Wellbutrin. My combo now is oxcarbazepine and buspar. I feel good now. I can work, sleep well. But I do have some emotional blunting too. I guess we can’t have it all. But I’ll take this. I can relate to you regarding the extreme tiredness and still unable to sleep. Right now I feel like I’m on the right combo. I hope you get to where you feel like yourself. ❤I got the brain zaps when I got off SSRIs. It was not cool coming off that stuff for me. I had (still have at times) intrusive thoughts too. Sorry my comment is so weird… I’m commenting and watching at the same time. 😂😂 Watch out for serotonin syndrome with the Zoloft and the buspar. It’s rare, and I doubt it will happen, but just be aware. Your hair is fine. Ok I’m done rambling. ❤😂😂😂

Maaaan, I appreciate a good ramble! 🙏✨ Very glad to hear you got your combo down. That’s amazing. For me the emotional blunting slowly slowly got better, hopefully that will be your experience. Thanks again for the comment!

Hi Robert. Hope you’re doing well! One question for ya, how long was it until you started feeling noticeable positive mental health changes while taking bupropion? I’m just about 8 days in and I feel like I’m mostly feeling a very slight undertone of a headache and most of the same thoughts. It’s doing something, but I’m not quite sure what yet. Almost kinda confused at what I’m feeling. Idk! Lol

Hi Rob, thanks for the great and precious content you share, very useful. Why did you start zoloft, when you already were on wellbutrin and buspar? Couldn't your psychiatrist just up one of the 2 meds' dose until the desired end result is reached?
@robertmakesashow7089

That is an excellent excellent question! ✨✨✨ it was kinda a combo that I put together myself. Firstly, I kinda theorized that I would get a benefit from the synergy of multiple drugs. Each of the drugs worked in different ways and on different aspects of the brain. Instead of pulling one lever harder and harder, so to speak, I pulled multiple levers lightly. I didn’t want to reach a super high level of one drug in particular, makes it a lil harder to taper off if need be. Secondly, I found that the buspar and wellbutrin were doing good things for my anxiety and i didn’t want to alter that course. Though at that time, my depression was still bad. Zoloft, above all things is more depression focused and I tried to add it to see if I can really just target the depression. Thankfully with enough time the Zoloft did its job and my depression started to decrease. Thank u for the excellent question!✨✨✨😌

@@robertmakesashow7089 Thanks so much for your answer. Currently on Zoloft myself, and added buspar almost 2 months ago. End result is pretty satisfying. I introduced Buspar to be able to tone down 25mg of Zoloft, reaching 75 instead of 100 mg, which made me emotionally numb. Worked out pretty well IMO, and now targerting the 50mg bar. Also contemplating adding wellbutrin to it, but not right now. Anyway, thanks for that content, keep it straight, you got French watchers now!

I was on Zoloft before. I was on 25 mg for one week and my doctor wanted me to go up to 50 mg after. That might have been a little too much to go to 50 mg that fast. My anxiety was so bad after that I went off of it again. Kind of feel bad that I threw in the towel.

@@nl212ep This was my fourth time on Zoloft. I ended up having weird heart palpitations that I never felt before and I asked my psychiatrist to take me off of it.

Thanks for your comment!! side effects are a tough situation!! If you decide to try it again or another SSRI maybe you can go low and slow with the dosage. Or try Buspar if your psychiatrist thinks it’s a good fit! It’s never too late to get that mental health right! I wish you all the best!✨
