I’ve been on Wellbutrin for years. Idk exactly when I started it- maybe 7+ years ago. I worry about being on it forever but I don’t function well when I try and taper down. Just take care of yourself- nursing school is hard. Physically, emotionally, it’s one of the hardest things you will do. But you can do it! The main side effect I have had is nausea. Usually about 1-2 hours after taking it. Funny enough, if I eat something it goes away. I wish I lost weight on it!! You are more likely to have seizures if you don’t taper off of it and have been on it a long time, at high doses. If I just suddenly stopped taking it, that would not be good. I have never had a seizure! But I do get wicked headaches if I forget to take it. I’m glad it has helped you!

💎💎💎 ✨✨✨this is such a gem of a comment. thanks for your feedback and encouragement! have you gone to nursing school? I wonder if i’ll be taking this drug forever, at this point i don’t really seem to mind but i wonder if it’ll get annoying after awhile🤔💭

@@robertmakesashow7089 I am a nurse. Have been one for probably as long as you have been alive! Lol 😂 I graduated young. I’ve taught nursing (clinicals and labs). The hardest part was getting my ADN. That was brutal. The BSN and MSN were easy in comparison. I would love to not have to take Wellbutrin. Taking pills every day gets old. But it has helped me so much. Good luck! You got this. We used to say back in the day, C=RN. There was only ever one or two students that got A’s. Lol 😂

It’s been so hard to find people here who have experienced with buspirone so thank you so much for posting. Just started today after having it sit on my dresser for months. I just can’t take the up and downs of anxiety anymore. Praying it works great for me. I’m just nervous of the side effects but maybe they go away after a few weeks?

If you know the cause of the anxiety, it might be a good idea to look into EMDR or Brain Spotting.

Hi.. when u say stimulating... will it give me a panic attack? I already get that and palpitations... without drug. I can't drink redbulls. It's been sitting on my desk for that reason. Should I take it or toss it? I wanted to try a tiny piece but it says not to crush it. So I guess not.
@robertmakesashow7089 Жыл бұрын
do nooot crush it!! phew, that’s a straight up ticket to catastrophe town. if you have panic attacks and palpitations, yes it definitely can make it worse. not to say it isn’t the solution, but there are probably better suited medications for you. Im definitely not an expert but i’d mention your concerns to your psychiatrist. Good move on being thoughtful and doing your research! ✨

whoa! no way, this stuff works soooo differently for different people. I don’t know how long you’ve been on this med but the good news is i found that all my side effects went away after 3 months. Hope things start getting back to normal for you!🙌

Man I’ve been on buspar for 5-6 weeks and am up to 25mg a day. No relief at all. Starting to think it might not be for me.
@robertmakesashow7089 Жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear it’s not working for you! it does take awhile to get going. Hang in for just 2 more weeks and hopefully itll start working its magic. these drugs work so different with different people! For me it was a real game changer it just took awhile. Consider adding 1-3mg of melatonin for better sleep, i found it helped in conjunction with the buspar. thanks for commenting! hope either it starts kicking in or you find an alternate solution! thanks again for commenting 🙌

im about to take it starting today im so worried about it
@robertmakesashow70892 жыл бұрын
That’s totally understandable, many people myself included got their prescription and sorta just stared at it for days and days afraid to take it. The cool thing about this process is that your journey to mental well being starts with an act of courage. It’s not easy to take charge of our mental health, it takes real courage to fight anxiety and/or depression and lift ourselves out of the darkness. You should even feel proud of yourself for making it this far. One thing i will say is that, bupropion while very potent is a pretty well tolerated drug. It doesn’t work for everybody and it will take about a month to a month and a half to work its very best (hang in there), but i know multiple people who were able to get off of it and safely taper themselves down when they were ready to stop. Id say don’t let me convince you to take it, but take it when-and-if you feel ready to move forward with your mental health. Hopefully the video was a little help, i wish you all the very best and thank you for your comment!!

Bro have you ever experienced muscle twitching? I’ve been on it for about six weeks now and I’m starting to experience muscle twitching in my left hand. It comes and goes throughout the day it’s freaking me out though
@robertmakesashow70899 ай бұрын
i def had tremors in my hands for awhile which eventually went away. As for twitching, its hard to say because i've been incredibly twitchy my whole life. I personally wouldnt be worried about the twitching. I would say though if you drink alcohol or do drugs on these meds they can lower your threshold for side effects.

Is it true or have you heard that if you have taken a benzodiazepine in the past then Buspar will not work for you? You have to be like a benzo virgin for Buspar to work for you. Have you taken a Benzo in the past or no? Thanks for your time😊

@SkyNet General hi my message keeps getting deleted does KZfaq not allow links to be posted? Anyway I read it in some articles you will have to look them up bc I can’t post links apparently. Also here on KZfaq go to this doctors page “WellNowDoctor” in his video on Buspirone he mentions it briefly at the 1:00 mark
@AJ888742 жыл бұрын
@SkyNet General my messages keep getting deleted...in the video I’m telling you about the doctor says at 1: 00 for some it is less effective if you have taken a benzo in the past ...Also try copy and pasting this on goog: “Does Prior Use of a Benzodiazepine Predict a Negative Response to Buspirone?” I think that was one of the articles I read
@AJ888742 жыл бұрын
@SkyNet General very true😊 have you taken Buspirone with success? I was prescribed Lexapro for anxiety/panic and PPPD but am scared to take it. The only problem is PPPD only responds to SSRI’s like Lexapro. So I’m thinking of biting the bullet and trying the Lexapro and maybe later on I can switch to Buspirone.
@robertmakesashow70892 жыл бұрын
i’ve never taken a benzo before! So perhaps it was a little more effective for me.
@MrWhatever9022 жыл бұрын
Hello! Can you only take Buspar without any other medication like SSRI?
@robertmakesashow70892 жыл бұрын
From what i understand there isn’t too much mixing of Buspar and SSRIs. I believe buspar does work on a specific serotonin receptor and maybe adding an SSRI would be over kill. However i think it’s just serotonin with buspar so i think you can add an NDRI antidepressant such as wellbutrin which is what i’m currently on! N is norepinephrine and D is dopamine which are also involved in depression and anxiety. are you currently on an SSRI?
@MrWhatever9022 жыл бұрын
@@robertmakesashow7089 No I am not taking any ssri. I am taking only buspar once a day.
