Thank you - one of the best videos on this topic. I have these questions please : 1. Is the 18 inches centre line distance from the centre of the leaf spring hole or back edge of the hole? 2. Does this centre line bring the wheels slightly forward compared to original centre line 3. Did you create a 2 degree rake angle or weld flat edge to edge between the the suspension and the plate? Your plate idea is brilliant - is it going to stay like that permanently. Thanks again Ray ( South Africa)

Ray Maharaj Answers 1. Center of leaf spring hole 2. It wasn’t forward of the original center line. I would recommend marking on the floor your original center line with a plumb bob before disassembly this way you’ll have multiple references. 3. I did not weld it flat. I basically welded it where front of subframe was touching frame and rear slightly off to give myself a little kick up. You will want this for the positive caster and assists the wheels to self center a little bit. The plate idea worked out great it’ll remain like this.

I'm amazed at how narrow your frame is. What's the width of it? I don't have that much room between my frame & the outside of my Jaguar front end. I did knotch my frame up an inch & half. I also boxed the inside.
