I usually get pierced with simple titanium jewelry and save up for a solid gold piece during the healing process. It’s super rewarding to add a blingy, expensive piece once you’ve done the hard work of healing the piercing!

I'm so glad I prefer titanium. I either get simple labret posts with a opal cabochon end or a spike, or a CBR that's anodised. I'm so glad that I'm not into gold or diamonds, because I could never afford haha

I’m a year into my curation and I’ve got 6 left until I’ve reached my goal. It’s been long and have dealt with “ugly” jewellery but seeing it slowly come together is a really good feeling. My aim is to finish with getting the piercings by the end of this year but won’t have goal jewellery until late next year where they’re all healed. I had many ideas but some I did not have anatomy for or the placement I wanted wasn’t going to be viable (the fact my piercer explained why she wouldn’t do them convinced me she’s good)

Been working on mine for a good few years and only up to 17 in total, still have a couple of the trickiest healing ones to do on both sides Edit: I'm one of these people who loves piercings but I don't have huge amounts of money to play with (I'm a dancer on the whole we're poor) but there's some great pvd gold titanium options with cz & artificial opal etc. You can still have a beautiful ear set up without it costing ££££'s - don't get me wrong, when I see an ear decked out in LeRoi, BVLA & Junipurr etc. I do look on in awe, as they truly are stunning, but I know that's not achievable for me and I'm actually super happy with what I got too 🤷🏻‍♀️

Great advice about ear curation. A lot of people don't realize it isn;'t done overnight. It's a journey, with an end goal in mind, just as with tattoos. I have 12 piercings in each ear that I curated myself. The smallest gauge is 16, the largest is 4. It has taken at least 5 years to get my ears where I want them to be, and I'll admit I was impatient at times. Danielle's ear is gorgeous. I've done the same---different styles of jewelry. Make the ears interesting to look at. All of my jewelry is titanium, except for the 4 gauge holes, which have silicone tunnels in them with a 14 gauge ring or clicker through the tunnel, with or without a charm on the ring. I always wanted a rook and a daith piercing in each ear, but my anatomy won't allow for either. I'm happy that the piercer was honest with me and told me I couldn't have them. My ear piercings were done in the late 80s-early 90s. (Jan Griffiths).

I’m slowly working on my right ear right now. I got my conch done in January, my flat done in the beginning of March, and am hoping to get my rook done in July, and then two mid helix piercings along with a surface tragus. I’d love if I could get this all done by the end of this year. But totally would not be surprised if it won’t be able to be done until next spring. I just know to listen to my piercer 😊 I’m not even going to start my left ear until my right ear is fully healed!

Great video & advice. I’ve technically been working on my curation since Jr High before it was even called that in the 90’s lol. I’ve noticed now that I’m older my upper lobes & cartilage are super sensitive and doesn’t even like titanium. Once I was finally able to change out my conch & helix to gold my ears calmed down tremendously. Therefore Im prepared to spend more to use real gold for my for next piercings.

Loved this video. I'm not really getting my ear curated, I just have my first lobes, helix on my right ear and conch on my right (still healing, it's only three months old) and yes while those pictures look beautiful, I am more of minmallist myself and often think less is more. I have my lobes, a helix on my right and my conch on my right and wear super simple but high quality jewellery in it. I actually love that more sometimes then a fully decked out ear with like 6 or 7 piercings in each ear.

I’m definitely inbetween, I love white gold but I also have titanium. I started with titanium and slowly moved my ear over to gold with mystic topaz, Mercury mist topaz and tourmalinated quartz. I would not care if it was gold or titanium I just find these stones are normally found in gold pieces. Also I definitely learned custom orders are slow, I knew it was slow but it is very slow, granted I custom ordered my first pieces during COVID and I’m guessing the expectations I’ve heard around were pre-COVID estimates. Definitely want to do more custom orders because I prefer hinge rings and I also don’t find the gems I enjoy often just in the case, if I do I usually scoop it up immediately. What I did experience is great communication, phone calls or messages with progress.

You are so right about not being able to get the jewelry you really want right away! I have had my industrial bar for 5 months and just got my chain, and I'm getting a snake stud in my conch pretty soon and have had that piercing for a few months now. I couldn't get the jewelry I wanted sooner because crusties formed in the middle of the jewelry. I still have to wait a little bit for my conch hoop. It takes a lot of time and patience but it's so worth it in the end! Thank you for the video!

As a body piercer When people want something their anatomy will not work with, I will show them why and I will show them what I can do that will be Comfortable to live with. Especially for ears and belly buttons (slang for Navals LOL) I always enjoyed custom work, But people don't realize the cost of proper implant grade jewelry and we don't get it for penny's on the dollar. You can't have an ear curation like the picture you showed for under $1000 if it's quality jewelry. Many of those jewelry pieces are between $100 to $200 just by themselves without the cost of piercing.

People are so shocked sometimes. They bring me these gorgeous photos and even mention they love that it’s all gold and diamonds. But gold and diamonds have a gold and diamond price tag. 😳 It’s beautiful but it’s also ok to compromise to work within a budget! Titanium and cz can be super gorgeous as well. 🥰

For a company like BVLA, how would you go about getting a gemstone that’s not on their website? Would they handle it or would I have to source one myself? I want to get a yellow gold cab prong with benitoite when I get a septril someday. Also, custom jewelry orders are no joke! I got quoted for their Antoinette barbells (with rose cut rhodolite and marquise cut morganite, so they’d have to change the mold a little), and it was estimated to be over $2000. I am going to be so happy someday when I can afford that but for now I am happy with my titanium and teal opal claw set gems. :’)

I love my ears and my ears aren’t done getting curated yet but I love how my ears are turning. I have a gold 10 karat gold and surgical steel theme going on it’s surgical steel and gold together and I love it. Love it love it love it so not all my earrings are gold and not all my ears are earrings or surgical steel. They’re both there mixed and it looks so nice. I love it Of course, three of my piercings do not have their end hoops, yet in there in my piercing and jewelry, it does not have the end jewellery in them yet which is my one conch, my third helix, and my snug at the moment but when they do get them that’ll be really nice but I’m planning on doing a Gold up on the helix, a surgical, steel, snug hoop, and a gold conch, my first conscious gold my second conch will be surgical steel

My role model, the one who inspired my your creation is Dolores O’Riordan, and she is very down to earth very basic. She’s lead singer of the cranberries she passed away in 2018, but she was the one who inspired to get my ears curated, and she never had dangle charms, gems, all like diamond, up and pearls and all these Flashy earrings, and all of that she never really had that she was very down to earth, even though she was a famous lead singer of a band, she still wore like basic hoops and basic pretty toned down, basic jewellery and that’s what I go for tone down basic jewellery still wanna look pretty, but don’t want all the flashy, flashy uncomfortability jewellery I want to be able to have all my piercings and then go to sleep with on my ears. I don’t want to be in pain while I’m sleeping on my ears. No thank you especially after the field during mother healed yes I use my donut pillow and that’s fine but I don’t wanna have to use it all the time even after it’s healed like I wanna be able to sleep on my regular ass, macular pillow and not be in pain. Well I’m sleeping I don’t wanna do that. I want to put my jewellery and have a nice and comfortable to my ear and then lay on my actual ear on my pillow, not my donut hole pillow my actual pillow after my piercings are healed.

Oh yes that is so true. Getting them to heal well is way more important than looking cute it’s not about looking cute. I have a helix piercing right now a snug piercing and a conch piercing or healing right now. I have other piercings that are already done and healed and there they have their beautiful, endgame jewellery they look beautiful I love them and right now those three piercings, my conch, my one conch cause I’m getting a double conch, but I’m waiting for this one conch to heal first And then I’m gonna go to conch below that but I’m waiting for the first one to heal right now currently that has a big huge ass long ass bar and the reason why mine has an extra extra long bar and I leave mine for extra extra long bar is because my piercings are more sensitive so they’re more prone to infection and they go up and down up and down and swelling so because of that I do leave The extra long bar either for the entirety of the healing process or for at least a good damn portion of it at least a good damn portion because I don’t rush to shrink down my bars because I get infections so easily not because I don’t keep my piercings cleaner that I don’t clean them stuff like that. I just have a very sensitive ears so my ears are so sensitive that it’s just they just flare up and you get an infection once a while Not because I touched them or played with them or come in contact with anything to cause it sometimes they just play rough on their own and getting infections so that’s why with my piercings even though the big long bars do get annoying at times I leave those big long bars in there for almost the entire tea or the entire duration of the healing process Depending on which part of the year I am healing like my snug piercing. It’s healing great is doing awesome is doing great but it did have a recent flareup and thankfully that you were you are supposed to shrink it down after a couple of weeks and I was at the time where I was supposed to shrink down my snug bar that I was wearing but right when that happened boom I woke up to days before that and boom I had a big huge and fat head infection. It was acting up upset, so I was like OK bars a little longer so the bar Hass to be long for a little more time so that’s why I leave my bars in for extra long periods of time even with my helix that I always leave my bars for an extra long duration of time. Yes, I know it’s annoying and it does get caught on things sometimes or hit but I try to be extra mindful that I have my extra long bars in my piercing, but I just I leave it for Nextro long duration just because my ears are so prone to infection. I can simply sit there walk by something have a dog hair just go right on my piercing and in two hours or the next day even though I’ve cleaned it thoroughly it and try to make sure to get the dog hair off or whatever that was irritating the piercing that night the next day wake up boom infection and I’m like fuck off and then I have to sit there and clean it and clean out pots and it’s disgusting but I always have had my piercings like that. They are extra sensitive. They always are they are always more prone to infection so I do tend to keep my bars that I pierced with for extra extra long period of time. I remember when I got my first helix, I had an extra long ass bar in there. I kept it in for the entirety of the healing process. I did not change it down at all. The only thing I did was keep the long ass bar in there all the way until it was healed up enough for a change to a hoop that’s when I went in. I changed it to a hoop and that’s what it’s only had sense same with my helix beneath it. It had an extra long, long piece of jewelry. I had an extra big jewellery and I left it in there all the way until it was completely healed. I did not take it out. Change it at all and it’s the same with this helix my third one on the other side. I have two on the left and one on the right and the one on the right it has an extra extra long bar in it right now and you know what that stays in for a good six months to a year because my year is flare up stupid it likes to flare up and sometimes it causes itself and infection. Literally my ear gives itself infection nothing I did. I can sit there cleaning it I could sit there making sure there’s no dog hair and making sure it’s clean, clean clean very very clean and then boom it just flares up and says fuck off and gives an infection. Sometimes it’s called by a dog or piece of dirt or something and then sometimes just build it to itself even though there’s no dirt there’s no nothing it’s just like like cow it’s upset mad mad so when I do my piercings, I know for a fact Yep I’m gonna have that big extra long bar in there for a good extra long time and I know it that’s even with my daith piercing. I didn’t change my days piercing to the recommended time you change it between changing I changed it extra late because even my day that’s inside my ear fucking flares up and gets infections and goes boom and mad and angry so it kept it would go up and down up and down up and down during the healing process and even though it still gets irritated once in a while, so that’s why with me I never rush to get all my piercings. I never rush to change my jewellery ever I just leave it to the extra long bar for an extra long periods of time just to make sure just to make sure and that’s why when people see me they always ask me like how do you get all these piercings to heal you know how do you not have any of these piercings rejected and the big thing is is I constantly keep them clean I don’t clean them with salt water because I have sensitive. I very very sensitive ears so I have to clean them with alcohol and I’m more prone to infection so my other pro tip that I do is when I get pierced with an extra long bar and whatever that may be a banana bar straight bar whatever I’ll keep that bar in for an extra extra extra long period of time. I keep it in so long just to make sure it is healed.

Like my goal is on both my ears to have my ears pierced from top to bottom nose, piece inside and outside of my ear. The outer of my ear and the N inner of my ear are all pierced and that’s my goal but I know it’s gonna take a really long time but I’m aware of that and I’m OK with that because I rather slowly building building building get there, slow and steady, wins the race and have all my piercings nicely healed up and have the beautiful final jewellery rather than rushing to do it then I have to run the risk of you know, especially because my ears are so sensitive. I don’t want to overdo it because I can run the risk of having them reject or something really really bad go wrong even worse than that or something, so I just do slow and steady because I know it wins the race in the end.

That’s why with my piercer Brianne, I don’t go in with that mindset. She’s the one who’s been curating my ears for the past I think you’re almost 2 years now and she’s been the soul like curating my ears. Basically I don’t have any ideas when I go in to get pierced, I just know yeah I want to get my ears pierced again get another piercing. I know I have room for another piercing on my ears. Don’t know which one but I’m gonna go in and get it And and or typically she does give me some ideas like in one case I had enough space between my third hole, my second hole in my one year to get a stacked lobe and they went in getting that and a second helix last year and they look nice they’re beautiful they’re wonderful But I never fully go in going. I want to get a snug or anything like that or a rock or a conch or a tragus anything like that I never do because I I just kind of let her look at my ears and say you can get it let’s go do it and she’s the one who basically has a lot of control out of styling my ears and she’s been telling me like oh we can do this and do this and giving me ideas and I’m liking the way she’s curating my ears and making my ears look and she’s really Helping me create the vision of my ears that I want and that’s basically due to. I’m comfortable with Brianne my piercer she’s awesome she’s great. I love the way she pierces. She doesn’t make me feel like stressed or panicked or anything like that. She makes me so comfortable, and she really does have full control of my Curation of my ears like I didn’t even know I could get the snug piercing. I had no idea I could get it didn’t even cross my mind didn’t even want that piercing. actually I just knew I can get helix piercings because I have a good ridge for a helix piercing. I knew I did not have a good ridge for an industrial, so I never wanted it but I was just going in recently. It was in February. I went in on February 4 a few days after my birthday I think two days after my birthday because my birthday is on February 2 and I just knew I wanted another helix piercing and I knew what year I wanted it on. I want it on the ear with my daith piercing. I didn’t even know I had an anatomy for that. I had no idea I knew I wanted it I had an idea I was like yeah I do kind of want the daith piercing but I’m not too sure if I have the anatomy and of course I did. Hallelujah thankfully Soshee pierced my day that was last year. I had no idea I just I knew I wanted it but I didn’t know if I had the anatomy for I just asked Brandon like do I have the anatomy for the day piercing or no you know and she was like Yep you have the anatomy for it you’re good I’m like OK I just kind of go with what she knows. I have the anatomy for she looks at my ears and she goes. Do you have an anatomy for this? Do you have a space for this and she’s the one that tells me whether or not I have the anatomy or if I’m able to The only thing I know for sure I have the ridge for is my helix piercings so a lot of times I just go in saying I just want a helix piercing and of course I do want another cute piercing with it but I just you know I do see these unique piercings and things but I’m just like I’m not sure if I want the hammer I’m not sure if I have the ear for it just like with the snug piercing I had no idea I had the anatomy for it I knew of the of the piercing I’ve seen it and I’m like I kind a like that piercing I know it’s a bitch to heal a pain in the ass, but most of my piercings are like that anyway so I was willing to handle it but I was like yeah I want that piercing but I don’t know if I have the anatomy, so I’ll just check with my piercer Brianne, so I just went to my Piercer Brianne. She looked at both my ears and she’s like Yep you have the anatomy on this year for your snug piercing for a snug and I’m like OK so I got a snug and a contrite on my birthday and then she said the same day she’s like you also have anatomy on your other ear for a conch piercing and at the time I thought OK I just have anatomy for one. I just have enough room for one but turns out when I went back in this month to get it done. She said you have anatomy for two conch piercings just so you know so she’s like do you want me to pierce in the middle or do you want me to pierce it’s the one your top one is up at the top and then there you can put another one later when the piercing heals and I said I wanna be able to put another one with the piercing heals so she put it the first one up top left the bottom open so I’ll be putting the bottom one later when the other one heels but that’s basically what I do. I just kind of let my piercer have creativity and tell me what I have anatomy for.

So these are a little out of your listed distance, but both Diamond Eyez [New Orleans] and High Priority Piercing [Slidell] on the Gulf Coast of Louisiana are fantastic and APP certified. Cool little studios with a nice jewelry selection and helpful employees.

Hey! I know this is an old video, but I still have a question on ear curations! A lot of the time you talk about clients coming into a studio and showing inspiration pics or having an idea already.... I want an ear curation but is it a bad idea if I want to walk in and tell the piercer my budget but let then curate based on my anatomy at their own free reign?

I found out that my ears are just too oily for piercings to stay clean without a ton of maintenance. It's sad, but it is what it is. I'm happy that stretching is something I was able to do, but all the small stuff just won't work for me.

My goal is for my ears to look beautiful and curated and look nice in that sort of thing but my other part of it is I want my piercings to be as comfortable as they can I want to be comfortable. I want to be able to have comfortability while wearing my earrings and not have to take them out and I want to be able to sleep with my earrings in every day if I can’t do that then I don’t want that jewellery in my ears because Comfortability is so important to me while it is healing and even afterwards I sleep with my donut hole pillow while it’s healing and then after I’m done healing I am a side sleeper so I sleep directly on my ears and so if I’m uncomfortable with my studs or barbells that’s in my ears that’s not good I want my earrings nice and comfy nice and comfy that that’s my gold cup. I wanna look beautiful stylish with my piercings, but I want to look comfortable to, that’s why I’m more of a plain girl I like plain surgical steel hoops, plain gold hoops I’m not big flashing gems and things like that. I don’t like that I don’t like it at all because then it’s like I can’t sleep with my fucking piercings in and I hate that I mean my thing is I want to sleep with my piercings, and I don’t wanna have to take them out to go to bed. No no I have low vision and it’s really hard to get my piercings in by myself, sometimes especially with low vision, so I go for more comfortable Looking nice looking pretty feeling beautiful with my piercings, but I don’t want those stylish, charm, dangle piercings, and cluster ear piercings and all that stupid shit I don’t want it. All I want is comfortability so I can sleep looks nice but modern basic plain surgical steel gold hoop style at the end that’s how I like all my piercings are healed. Nice looking pretty, but dialled down very basic, so I’m not having all these gems and charms and whatever else on my ears no thanks and I like having like that one single earring with like little beads on it or something that makes it unique and have all the rest of my ear piercings plain I like it that way I like having like a piercing here in there that’s like oh it’s pretty and has like a little bit of beads or a little charm on it or something and then the rest are all playing so that I’m not having so much on my ears because I want to be comfortable not just stylish can I sleep with my piercings and I never take them out so

I have an ear Curation I am in the middle of doing and I know it’s going to take a couple of years to get it all done and I have a really good piercer. Her name is Brianne. She’s a great piercer she’s my favorite. I love her and I love going to her to get my piercings done, and It’s taking a long time. Yes the finish line I’m not even close to getting done yet, but I’m loving my ears more and more as I get piercings throughout the year last year I got my nose in my days I got my third holes stacked low, but a helix done last year. This year I got a helix, a snog and a conch done so far this year and I’ll probably get one more piercing for this year but still will not be done and I’ll still be going to Breann for another year and this is our second year together as piercer and client, and she’s awesome. I love her she’s happy bright. I love her she’s great. I love the way she pierce if she can keep me calm she I’m not nervous when I go to see her anymore I was nervous the first few times but now I’ve went to see her several times to get piercings, and I Love her she is so tentative to listening. She knows I have very sensitive ears. She knows that my ears tend to swell way too much so she put extra extra extra long bars and all my piercings now because she figured that out with my third holes because she put too short of bars in my third holes and what happened was they Swoll so much they caused actually oil inside my ears, ear piercings and so she was like OK I have to put extra long bars in so now she puts these really long extra long bars so that the heel Properly until they have a lot of room to heal because my piercings yes they overly swell she says, and I have very sensitive ears so she knows to recommend normally salt water for everybody but she knows for me don’t work it just doesn’t heal my piercings. I get infection a lot. I’m very prone to infection, so do you know cut down on getting infections in my ear, piercings and stuff because I have such sensitive ears. She suggest I clean it with alcohol. Instead, she knows she normally doesn’t make suggest that but because my piercings constantly get infection easily because I have very sensitive ears when they are healing but I have very sensitive ears just in general All together sometimes my ear piercings even though they’re like 10 five 1015 years old could still flare up once a while she knows to just tell me use my alcohol just clean it. That way it helps with your piercings but my piercer Brianne I’m going to be with for a good couple of years cause we’re not done yet. We got lots to still go, but your creation is not over yet or of done but I am very happy with what I have and what I am currently healing up at the moment they’re healing up nicely taking their time And I know in the end I have all my ears done, but it will take a couple years to get it all done but I don’t mind going to my piercer Brianne every few months or so and for doing it for a couple of years. I don’t mind having to do it for a couple of years cause I’d rather go slow and steady, win the race and have all my piercings and none of them are jacked and heal. Nice and look nice and be beautiful rather than try to rush it have a piercing reject or something really bad go wrong and not heal or have my piercings not heal at all, which is something I don’t want to so, I do it slow and steady because I know it wins the race in the end especially with my overly sensitive ears. I do slow and steady slow and steady is my motto.

I know what that’s like not because my piercer told me that I am unable to get a piercing or anything like that. It’s because I realized it and recognize it with my own ears that I cannot have those piercings two examples is I cannot have flat piercings I love seeing flap piercings, which is on the flatter part of your Arm and ear and I can’t have that because I don’t have flat enough ears for that I can’t have a industrial because of the same thing I don’t have enough ridge for an industrial but that’s OK I’m like that’s fine. I have enough space and I have an I have anatomy for a rook. I have the anatomy for double conch I have the anatomy for a slug you know so you know, and I have an anatomy for tragus my tragus is are very pronounce so I can get a tragus piercing, and you know just other piercings That some people may not be able to get like some people can get an industrial, but can’t get a rook piercing because I don’t have enough for the ridge for a rock and some people like myself can’t get an industrial but they could have a rook piercing they have double conch like I can I can have a double conch and I am my first concert feeling at the moment and then I’m gonna get another one below it, so hey, it makes me happy Just like my one piercer or non-professional piercer I went to before my peers are Brianne. She went cross eyed I guess Aiden decided I’m going to pierce your second hole really close to your first hole so she made a lot of room so when my peers and Brandon went to put my third holes in she either had to off she’s like I have to put your third hole closer to your second hold on your Ear or I can put in the same spot but then you have a gap between your second hole and your third hole and she’s like I can put a stack load there and I’m like do it put my third hole right perpendicular across from each other right in the same spot and then of course, I had space for stack lobe so I have a stack little piercing and I’m happy with him and I love it and some people don’t even have big enough lobes for that so when I am unable to get some piercings or I recognize that I cannot get some piercings I don’t look at it is it’s really sad. I look at it as well. I’m sure there’s other special piercings. I can get at some people may not be able to like a double crunch or getting a snug piercing because not everybody can get a snug piercing so when I found out I was able to get the snug appears I was like holy fucking Luh Ya like Wow like wow like I can’t even believe I can get that like I don’t have the ridge for the industrial yeah that sucks but I certainly have the ridge for the conch. I have enough space for the conch two of them my bad I have a space for a snug piercing. I have a nice defined rook so my piercer said I can get that done and so it’s like well. Hey, I lost piercings that I can’t get but I’ve gained piercings that I can get that not a lot of people can like a snug piercing snug piercings are very dependent anatomy dependent and I was so happy I was able to get it so very happy.

And when you do that, put the plain and simple bars, and then put the pretty jewellery instead of rushing to put the pretty jewellery in you get to enjoy your piercings forever for a long, long time forever they stay forever they’ll be always healthy, but be healthy and looking nice and and that’s a good thing and you run Less risk of getting your piercings to reject and that’s why when people have piercings rejected like well your piercings rejected because you rush to put those pretty jewelry‘s in instead of waiting with your boring plain bars, and then putting the pretty jewellery in after I was healed and people get so mad because they’re Pearson‘s rejects was like cause you’re not taking care of it right you’re not Doing things right you’re rushing to pierce your ears too fast into your ear creation and you’re rushing to put those pretty pieces of jewellery in and you’re rushing so much that that’s why your piercings, reject or piercings have a lot of issues and problems and have trouble healing. If you don’t want to have trouble healing your piercings or have your piercings rejected do the simple plain boring bars, heal them up with those simple plain boring bars that are boring maybe to you ugly like in my case, my snug piercing bar is ugly and boring but I do want it to heal nice and I want to look nice and I want to heal up awesome and I want to be able to put a beautiful hoop in it later so that’s why I’m just going to heal it up with that plain boring bar. Same with my third helix. Yes I got a plain ass boring ass bar in their butt. I want to healed up nice and then put a hoop in it.

Do you know sometimes the best is to go basic and boring piercings? And yeah it does look a little boring you’re like oh my god this fucking bar is so annoying or this is bar is so boring but you know you’ll get to that fun fancy piece of jewellery or pretty jewellery you want to put in it and you’ll get to that later Just heal it up with those bars get them to heal and then put those hoops in and other jewelry‘s in after and that’s what I do that’s why I keep all I’ve had all my piercings today that’s why they all are healed. Nice that’s why they’re all looking nice the ones that are healed Course my conch, my snog, and one of my helixes has an ugly plain bar in it but I do have plans to buy really pretty jewellery for them and get them all decked out. Have pretty jewellery after they’re healed but yeah I’ll just my goal is to heal with the ugly boring jewellery for now and then once they’re healed then switch my piercings out and put really pretty ones

My problem is that I agree to a time frame, and 90% of the time, it ends up being longer than the maximum amount of time 😰 it’s so frustrating.
@Lynn_Loheide
@Lynn_Loheide 2 жыл бұрын
To be fair since the start of COVID I stopped giving timeframes because everything was so imposible to predict. Piercers definitely need to be honest and realistic about wait times as do jewelry companies. That said I always like to see what happened if something got delayed. For example if I ordered from a small maker and they got sick or a machine broke. No one wants that to happen or can expect it. I try to be extra understanding if it’s smaller makers or total accidents!

All my jewlery is blurple anodized titanium with white opals. It's taken me years and years to get everything healed and with my perfect jewelry. I love it so much now but it was a process! I just got my navel pierced the other day and the piercer let me know my anatomy was okay but not 100% perfect. He was okay to go ahead as long as I knew there was a chance it wouldn't work out and that he'd keep up with me via email to check in so we could decide how healing was going. I so, so appreciated that. APP certified.piercers are really on a different level.
