One thing I never expected when I went on supervised release was how much I genuinely cared about my PO. He was a solid man that never talked down to me, was the first person up to bat for me, straight shooter. He was always willing to sit down and talk to me and reassure and encourage me. Helped me so much. When he retired I literally cried. I still send him Christmas Cards. His replacement arrested me and tried to send me back over some petty stuff. Total opposite, so I have had both. My newest one seems OK.

In my case I was in hospital for a pinch nerve in my lower back area . I couldn't even get up or walk..I was put on bed rest for the day with medication. I get a call from my PO telling me that I need to come in and piss test. I told her that I couldn't get up I just got out of hospital and the doctor put me on bed rest.. she said i was refusing to come in to drug test...she state that I was in violation of probation.. so the next day she shows up at my residents from what i was told by my neighbor they were trying to break in my house while i was knock out on pain pills.. my po and they officers were here for more then 60 minutes .. after 60 minutes they had to leave the resident if they don't have a probable cause or they suspect somebody's inside the house . But if they don't that's called illegal search and seizure and harassment..

When you work this job, do you feel like you have to keep yourself guarded against disappointment? I imagine a lot of probationers fail, but am i wrong? Is it more fulfillment than disappointment? Hi I’m so glad I found your videos but I a question. I was on pretrial release and did everything I was supposed to do no problem I have now been sentenced to no time but 3 years probation. I have a full time job I am clean of thc and stay out of trouble I have a fiancé and 2 step children in Mexico that I have not seen for 5 months and it has been very hard I want to ask for permission to go see them for my youngest birthday since I missed a birthday and our first Christmas together but I am nervous. My Son has been jailed for drugs after being put on probation. He has been in and out of rehabs for about the last 7 years. He is currently on a PO hold and was told that he would be there until a bed is available which would be in a few weeks. My Son is still waiting as he is on medication in jail and has mental problems. Whenever I call to speak to the Probation Officer he is very short with me, I asked him when a bed would be available for my Son, his answer was "He already has a bed" very cold answer. My question is, What information can a Probation Officer give to his clients family member? My Son need medical attention.

You can use ANY drug as long as you have a doctor's prescription, even for weed. If a doctor prescribes medical Marijuana that is medically necessary and you paid the state for a card. They cannot stop you from using nor revoke it. It is NOT a reward/privilege system for the courts to manipulate.

Do your probation officer have to notify you before a violation I had two years on probation my last 5 days they violated my probation for a case I caught 8 months ago why not violate me than why now

I been on probation for a month n haven’t been tested yet. When I was on emp and crp I was coming out positive but it seemed they didn’t care only in court the judge told me stop smoking. I know other people on probation were both under 18 that come out positive and there po only gives them counseling. My son's father is on Intensive Supervised Probation and has been pissing dirty for meth and alcohol for a month and his probation officer has not given him any violations and each meeting is just a "here's some resources, make better choices." And he goes straight back to using meth that night. She is aware of this and does nothing. What should I do? He's dwindling away before my eyes .....

I got to test before my 2 days of community service and have been stressing about legally being on suboxone. Almost been wanting to go through the hell of withdrawl before go see him.

When i met my probation officer i followed her home. When we made the next appointments to meet her i showed up at her home that morning. There was some issues with the police being called from that but she never asked me for a drug test after that incident.

My probation in weakley county Tennessee is so bad I was told the first day that I was going to be locked up for failure to make a payment I didn't understand because I was in the process of getting disability an have medical complications from the wreck but even telling them this made her mad and aggressive bye the way of being told she don't care an doesn't make exception for no one an I had untill 4 pm to produce the money or get the vop .so I had to scramble around an find the money which doing so put me in debt with others when you're struggling already isn't right to do to people disabled I'm lost in what I should do

I had a p.o tell me that she didn't care if my employer fired me I need to find a way to get to the office for a checkin. I was confused as I have to have a job otherwise I will be in violation of my terms, I got out of work but due to that instance and a few other similar my hours were cut which caused another issue with being able to pay my probation fees and be able to pay my own bills... she also told me multiple times that it was her intention to inconvenience me.

My probation forced me to meet at his office with private investigators from some company, and they forced him to be present during interview. Knowing that it was violation of my rights I refused to talk to them and left. My question is - why did probation officer organize it without letting me know to bring a attorney or just to be ready? I know someone that had a great probation officer and no violations for over a year while under her supervision, she went on maternity leave and got a new one that had only been doing this job for only a month, this one violated this person 4 times within a month, she kept threaening him with going back to prison, which he replied he has never been in prison, she called him stupid because he could not remember his psychiatrist and therepy couselors name, he was in a life threatening motorcycle accident and has a tramatic brain injury, which she said he was lying about. I have nver heard anything like this, it is an SIS not sure how to report this person, I understand they have a job to do, but this treatment seems uncalled for. your thoughts. they are very scared and anxiety is at its highest which already has this according to his therapist and psychiatrist, this does not help. for over a year with the other probation officer, no problems what so ever, now its miserable with this new one for this person.

my Parole officer (in the new county) after a few months told me i wasNOTHING like i was portrayed in my file, .. She told me she was not looking forward to having me on her case... But after knowing me she said i was a very plesant , kind honest woman.. i never lie... Hey im on parole probation and i kinda messed up and took some stuff that can fail me and i called this morning and it said "i am required to test today" and i took the pill that can fail me yesterday. Texas seems like a strain on my life that i don’t deserve. The court said I could report from the phone but I’m not sure if social services will allow. I don’t know what to do.

Ummm. Your good love your advice buttttt. In fort bend county you bette not be upfront. They penilize you for every little thing. If you ask for help with your drug usage they will FIRST! send you to jail and put you in a worse position to lose your job spend more money for classes that just waist your time and stress you out. What's crazy is I had a few different pos that will actually tell you this, they will tell you they know the class don't work they know it makes your life much more harder and stressful tempting you to use whatever it is you was using. Why can't probationers drink in their own homes once in a while when alcohol is legal? I am talking about people that rarely drink and they had no crimes involving alcohol. I just always wondered this. I know people do stupid things when drunk and probably the reason they are not allowed to be in establishments where alcohol is their main source of income. I wouldn’t take everything you say so seriously, most females are emotional and so are female probation officers. I once caught my PO speaking from feelings rather than facts and I asked a next question and she realized what she had done. Yes you speak valid points but a PO isn’t my girlfriend or my family she’s a police officer and police are not to be trusted.

I can't urinate and have to do blood test. Then they do a dna test and I didn't know I had any of this shit. Not that my dna is on anything but that's frustrating after 6 months of doing fine they keep doing things stressing me out.
