Just a side note... For some, God is still working on your CHARACTER and being more like Him before He gives you someone. Also, making sure you are not idolizing the process, the relationship, the spouse etc. God wants is to have a relationship with Him and to seek Him first. We get the desires of our hearts when we delight ourselves in God; our desires become His desires.

I met a man at my job who once told me to never get married. He had heard many horrific stories about coworkers marriages and decided that he never wanted to get married. He told many people that he would never get married. I married that man. Never say never.

I always say never and dwell there too much and learned from the video to stop dwelling there and the negativity. “I will probably never get married because I can’t find someone, I will never be rich and a millionaire so I hope I become rich enough to support a family and provide one day, I will never find a woman who would accept me for me and my heart and faith overlooking my lack of money, career success, and status so i will probably die alone and forgotten despite my desire to find a wife, I am so age behind in life at age 27 when compared to everyone else my age I will probably never will catch up and fulfill my goals.” You get the gist with me. It’s hard not having a soul who cares about me even though I have God with the loneliness, lack of friends and close relationships, and isolation taking it’s toll on me.

@@Justyouraverageguy172 I married my man when he was 42 he could have found a wife sooner but he stopped looking and it wasn't God's timing He stayed in his work and tried to live his life in a way that honored God and that is what I recognized. He was always quiet, smart, took responsibility for his own actions, never threw other people under the bus though he could have, he never took someone else's credit for their work though they try to take his. He is always kind, never yells at others when he is upset, he doesn't cuss. (which is rare to find in the trades) He doesn't chase money. He takes care of his family. Though he does work hard to provide what he can. My man is twice my age he doesn't make that much money he doesn't look like the kind of guy you will see on a magazine. On the outside he is just an average Joe but on the inside he is more attractive then anyone I've ever met. It might take a long time it might not. If you devote your life to following the God of the Bible and honoring him the right kind of woman will likely come along and notice that. Life's not about money and a good woman will know that. I think you need better goals then money and you might have a better life and a better chance of finding a good partner. It may be much later then your timeline that you have planned but one day you may find someone. You never know. My husband definitely didn't think that he would ever find someone that would appreciate him and that he would marry, then in his early 40's I came along.

1. God has a sense of humor that mortals just can't comprehend. "Never" is a challenge from an ant to a king. 2. Your future spouse isn't going to just show up in your bedroom. That's a home invasion. 3. Desperation has a smell and good/normal people subconsciously avoid it. 4. However many rocks you've unturned, there's always one you haven't considered. 5. Maybe you haven't found The One yet because you can't handle the truth about them yet.

This is so true! I met what would end up being my future husband when I was 15. We were great friends in high school, but never anything more. Neither of us were Christians at the time. After high school we lost touch and went down very different paths in our 20’s. At 29 we reconnected and learned we had both become Christians and in fact even attended the same church without even realizing it, since we attended different service times. Very quickly God opened our eyes to see each other in a whole new way. It did feel a bit awkward at first given our history, but it was the best surprise and gift ever. 6 months later he proposed at our church where God brought us back together. We just celebrated 10 years of marriage❤ Gods plans are so much better than our own 🎉

I am in serious need for another Christian to come into my life and help me right away. Esp someone a christian who knows how to handle n do things. I'm in such need now n pain..surgery on my leg had bad results I gained weight fr not being able to move right another earlier surgery I got a disease from..one med for this was taken away, disease is attacking my body, no one is helping me contact w church n fam is infuriating my mom is left without her needs met. A so called Christian lady came here n left me in the lurch acting out being a complete jerk. My bro ea time he came here has been a jerk n hurt n damaged me. There's a group of p who have messed me up locally..many businesses have barred me frgoing there without a cause. Etc.

@@MetalheadChristian ABSOLUTELY YES and ABSOLUTELY NO IT DEPENDS. I had given up totally on getting married and was prepared to be ALONE for the rest of my life. The LORD TOLD ME several months ago your husband is on his way. I SAID HUH WAAAY a minute just leave me the way I am. THE LORD SAID NO IT IS GOING TO GET REALLY BAD ON THIS EARTH AND I DON'T WANT YOU TO BE ALONE. I was like but but but. TO make a long story short I have met my husband and we will be getting married soon. He said he had prayed and asked the LORD TO BRING HIS WIFE TO HIM. The day we met he said he knew when he first looked at me he KNEW I WAS HIS WIFE. BACK in 2001 I had a dream me and my husband was putting up groceries and that he was 5 feet 10. Guess how tall he is EXACTLY the height he was in the dream. SO YES IF GOD WANTS YOU TO BE MARRIED HE WILL BRING IT TO pass. I kept trying to get out if it and the LORD said I THOUGHT YOU UNDERSTOOD it's going to happen. I have obeyed the LORD many times and it has always worked together for my good. YOU know something else the LORD told me. HE SAID I WANT YOU TO BE WITH HIM BECAUSE I KNOW YOU will do your best to do right regarding him.

@@MetalheadChristian it might. Mark has referred to that in some of his other videos. To try to paraphrase: If someone has a strong desire to get married - especially if they have sexual desires - there's a good chance that God would want that person to marry - to a Godly person, of course.

I would also take comfort in the fact that no one is perfect. Tbh, this channel seems to propagate the idea that you just have to wait. Your person is the person that you choose, it’s not written in the starts of destiny That’s the beauty of it, God will work through that and give you peace.

I thought this one was so funny.....because I just started dating a guy after being intentionally single for 12 years.....and he was in the NEVER EVER category. I'm really glad I wasn't drinking anything at the time I was watching this, because it would have come out my nose. I don't know if he will be "the one"....but it's still true even for dating life. ❤

I was using dating apps for about a year. But then I heard Holy Spirit tell me to delete them. It’s been about a year since. But in the past week, I’ve been tempted to download them again. It’s rough. But staying in prayer and fasting regularly to overcome this temptation. 🙏🏽

Pray that the Holy Spirit reveals your path to you. It may be that dating apps were not right for you ... at that time. I knew that "the app" was right for me because my mother, who is more righteous than I, had to push me into it.

Online dating is a straight no. I tried it several times on Christian dating sites and they are all scams. Many men on these sites are wolves in sheep's clothing. This was definitely an experience even using discernment. So, I am now content in my singleness, embedding my spirit, mind and heart fully to God. This being said, I now feel like a Ruth in a Boaz situation right now. I will see how it will unravel.

That's because the only men that women find attractive on dating sites are the wolves. 80% of women only find 14% of men attractive. So many women are all aiming to hook up with the same men who have LOTS of options and have no reason to commit.

I think one of the problems with Godly women is sometimes we imprison ourselves with scriptures and become very religious, rather than having the scriptures liberate us so we can live in the Spirit and Truth. In the end despite your wants and needs the Heavenly Father knows who is right for you, and will bring you to your spouse in His Perfect Timing, sometimes when you least expect it. I also believe that The Heavenly Father does give you some hints and clues who your ordained spouse is, but sometimes we can not see or misinterpret signs.

How many horror stories have you heard from normal dating though? You would need to avoid all dating to avoid the possibility of pain. Bad things happen everywhere, not just with online dating. Many people have used it to find their godly spouse. It's certainly has it's issues, and you are not wrong to avoid it if that's what you desire, but logically you are not safer by avoiding online dating. You could have a horror story in any form of dating as people are people. There are good men online and bad men, just like all of life. Just my thoughts :)

Many true points.. God opened my eyes and heart to see the man who had been by my side, through thick and thin, praying for me. After I had run a long marathon trying other paths, pursuing my 'dream men' and ending up hurt, he was still there. I don't deserve such steadfast love. We've been married 10 years soon and have three little children. It has not been easy, but here we are.

This is so fitting for me right now. I am recently talking to this man who so far his fruits match his actions. To be honest I havent dated anyone in 6 years. I told myself no more online dating yet alone dating outside my comfort zone. I then met this guy who isnt the typical guy I go for. So far it has been an interesing journey because he is what I needed but not what I wanted. I am learning to be a godly woman and be the female and feminine woman God created me to be. He makes me feel something I have never felt before and I love it but it is a little scary sometimes. I am very grateful for him. We are still taking things very slow.

I dwelled too much for son long jn the “marriage can never happen for me God despite my desire because I am so far behind in life compared to everyone my age at 27 that there’s no way I can find someone, be accepted and loved, welcomed even though I don’t have the money, house, job, and career successes and abundances women expect me to have instead of the lack I am suffering from, and hope to fulfill the obligation I have as the husband to provide for the family. My bf matches every single one. 1) I had said never to online dating AND even making friends online. I met my bf online and we became chat buddies. We opened up and became genuine friends. And, more than a year later, we started flirting. 2) I stopped waiting to be found. I became more active and started pursuiting a suitor. I was also the one to start flirting with my bf. 3) I had also stopped feeling so hopeless. I had removed toxic people from my life and didn't need my partner to "save me" anymore. By removing the toxicity, I was happy even while single. 4) He was my friend/chat buddy for a long time when I finally saw him as a potential partner. 5) Well, maybe this doesn't match very much. The only thing he doesn't match is that he is dark instead of blond (which is not serios anyway). It doesn't matter, I love him 😊

Because I'm unable to work and I don't have a license and unable to get out much - I often said I don't know how I'm going to meet my soulmate or future husband. I used to jokingly say almost got to bring some to my house and he walks down the driveway to my front door I don't see how we're going to meet. Cut two years after fighting each other online talking with and losing touch here and there when the timing was right- we finally met, it was at my house he pulled in my driveway. ❤

Can I speak to this please? Is it "not the right time to move yet"? or is it fear? Have you said hello or introduced yourself to her yet? The problem I have with shyness or being afraid to take a risk of rejection is this, if a guy can't approach me then he's probably too afraid to do A HOST of other things that I'm going to need him to do as the leader of our future home. A lot of times we say we're waiting on God when really, he's waiting on us. I know I don't know you or your personal situation, so please don't be offended at my comment. The sooner you talk to her and feel out the vibe, the sooner you'll know if you're allowing her to take up head and heart space that she doesn't need to and you can move on to the next available girl that would love to talk to you. When you approach your crush a simple hi how are you is a great start. You don't have to go straight into asking her out, just ask her about the service or what she thought about the sermon, etc. Keep the conversation light and simple. I'm rooting for you!!

Desperate and dateless apps are not the way to find a spouse in my opinion. Just because they declare themselves a Christian doesn't mean they actually are. Look for their fruits. Isn't it amazing this man is speaking about what women should and shouldn't be doing but nothing about what men should be doing! Look for someone who is kind, speaks kindly of family and friends. Has a gentle spirit. Nothing wrong with being single. Enjoy your own strength given to you by God. Jesus is the only one who completes you.

Wow. This is Confirmation…. Never Say Never. I learned that as a young girl. It’s like a Jinx. My older half sisters would say they would Never date this type of guy and they ended up w that guy……. Someone may Not fit in to your Normal. But, there are Always Exceptions…… I learned to find it’s Not Rigid. There are Absolutely Exceptions to the List.

I have made up my mind, I am going to cross train to eventually move departments to pursue my boss's boss. I'm 24 and autistic (so I can't take a hint to save my life), she's 30. The way I see it, if I can move and ask her out, then at that stage I win. If she says yes, great. If not, then I have no regrets because I gave it my all.

I’m in love with a godly man. We are really good friends. He does not know my feelings for him. He is over a decade younger than I am. Sometimes, it feels like the feeling is mutual, other days it is just plain friendship. Is it possible that God might be revealing something if you feel you are falling in love with someone who shares those feelings but he is the type of man you said you would never date? We are both Christians, and I have been wondering how strange it is that we both feel,that God is drawing us together, but he was a “ player” before he dedicated his life to Jesus. I used to like him. Now I don't like him and across time I feel like I cant stand him and do not want him around me. He did communicate his intentions and after thinking about it, it was a hell no. He is God fearing. I feel like doesn't get me, it is hard to have a normal conversation with him because its like he is not aware of what's happening. @@MAR24300 nothing much. We have never been intimate. I don't believe in intimacy before marriage. The closest we got was a handshake. We always argued and never seemed to agree on anything. He'd always forget about what we talked about as a result the conversations were tiring for me. Sadly,our relationship was always like a prayer meeting. Our world views were totally different. I guess I was just lonely for being single for more than 5 years and I was just drawn by the looks and the tongues when he prayed.

i think more context is needed: -are the two of you leading each other to sin? if so, do you and would you guys work on stopping that? -are you both equally yolked? -is this “anxiety” rational and fueled by scripture, and contextual interpretations of it, or is it more of just a feeling? -do you both lead each other closer to God?

@@karenac670hmmmm I hate to be a Debbie downer but I feel like random anxiousness isn’t a great sign, because you’ll never be able to fully love him if you have doubts, and in turn, it will be hard for you to fully submit to him if you don’t trust the relationship was put together by god. I also was talking to somebody for years and it was really a roller coaster, and I felt bipolar about it. He believed in God and had knowledge about the Bible, but wasn’t interested in learning more or praying (I asked him.) while I told myself he’s a believer and he’s sober and wants to be a father and overall a great guy, the fact that he doesn’t want to work on a relationship with God kind of makes me feel anxious, because I don’t think I’d feel comfortable submitting to him if I know he is that way. Of course I also made many mistakes. I asked God to change my character so I can become a good wife one day and be capable of loving my husband. It’s a very tough thing I know, but I think all you should do right now is pray, get into the word, and also ask your boyfriend to pray and get into the word as well. If he has trouble with that, well then that may be a problem
