When Jared said simple I was like yes. That’s it. That’s what I want. I read somewhere recently that simplicity is true elegance. Or something along the lines of that. You want a relationship that you can feel peace and ease in not more drama or confusion or fear.

1st of allI absolutely LOVE this new style for yall! I already really appreciated the good lighting, clear image, audio quality, & attention to details like background. Also enjoy when you include stuff like the potted tree falling in the background. lol! But everything about this is awesome. I am neurodivergent. I get easily over stimulated with sound in particular. You guys found a way to stimulate most of the senses without OVERstimulating them. That’s fucking art! 🔥 Also, the sponsored portion was very easy to listen to and much more engaging.

It starts with this question: “what do you want to do?” And genuinely being curious about their answer even if you want something different. Bc truly we only have 9-12am as responsibility free time I want for both of us not to compromise. Sometimes the answer is, I wanna scroll on my phone for a bit then check in. Sometimes it’s I wanna do some work/ finish some errands. Sometimes it’s let’s make a snack and talk. Most of the time it’s let’s watch something and touch on each other. It’s our sacred time, and that doesn’t always mean doing something together sometimes the act of love is 💯 guilt free time to be alone

You said 3hrs at the end of the day and then you changed it to 2hrs. I was afraid if the video was longer you’d say those 2 minutes at the end of day are sooooo good, lol. And simple, I think he means the relationship lacks unnecessary drama. I love that in my marriage too. No insults, no toxicity, no passive aggressive comments- you just deal with the reality of the situation as partners. I’m happy he said that, because I’ve noticed more often men bring the drama in marriages and call drama free ‘simple’ relationships boring.

Congrats. Being able to describe your love is already. Win in my book. Many people go years without being able to reflect on their love /relantionship and I believe it’s because they themselves are not self aware. This video and your words shows the deep work each of you have done and that self awareness spills over to your relationship. love to see it.

Not sure what you mean about what “many people” are unable to do. But I guess it’s because I don’t ask people about any reflection of their lives/relationships for my consumption/curiosity or the like so… This is literally their bread & butter and we all have to hustle out here, so if they love it I love it. By saying unable i meant that exactly, some people have a lot going on that working on themselves does not come easy so they are no able to be that self aware. I was congratulating them on the work they have actively put into themselves and therefore their relationship and how it shows on the way they communicate to each other. I meant to recognize it's not easy to reflect on a relationship, to work on ourselves because we do have a lot going on. The way they express themselves is an example of what it may look like when we have the time and can make the effort to work on selves. Sorry if it came off wrong.
