I’ve used canned biscuits to make beignets, just cut then into 4 pieces and deep fry, sprinkle powder sugar and enjoy. 👍🏼

First class of HomeEc, circa 1973. I was 13. Canned biscuit doughnuts. Cannot use the flaky biscuits. Open the cardboard can. Pop out the center w a 2-quart soda bottle lid? Deep fry. Toss in powdered sugar. A dozen doughnuts and the holes. Piece of cake, er, uh, doughnuts, lol.

Google: YT Hack _____ (fill in the blank recipe). Hack amazing cheap spag. Hack Dollar Store crafts. Hack hamburger recipes. Hack Cheap/easy Lasagna. Hack toilet paper or paper towel cardboard rolls. This one will amaze u. Hack meatloaf recipes. Hack ____ (your subject if interest). Way fun. Momma used to say, QUIT PLAYING W YOUR FOOD!, right? Sorry momma... this is MY kitchen now, lol! Another kitchen tip? Make a mess. Make it a big one. One batch for now. 2 for the fridge (leftovers). A few for the freezer. Why? 1 clean up. Cuts down on trips to the grocery store, you know what is in your food, cheaper than eating out or paying someone else to make it, package/ship it, made customized to your personal palate. Give it a few tries, share this "hack tip", and let me know what you think, ok? Caution: it will re-wire your brain toward a strong slant to creativity. Promise. Let me know, ok?

@Matthew Ciampa You can also stretch the individual pieces/shapes into longer pieces to make doughnut "sticks" or roll them out for thinner doughnuts or biscuits, top w some garlic/butter/herb mix for garlic bread or dipping toast snacks. Hack canned biscuits. Google it. And share this kitchen/life "HACK" trick, ok?

Good video. I lol when he calls an ice cream scoop a cookie scoop. (If you want your ice cream uniformed use a cookie scoop hehe) I know people use them now for cookies but it’s just a re-marketed ice cream scoop. He didn’t seem to know an ice cream scoop is a thing. 😃

These are great new ways to try new recipes with the canned biscuits. Can you use them for dumplings in chicken and dumpling soup? They're also great to make donuts and grilled cheese.

I like the idea of doing the cheeseburgers but can you do them in the microwave? If so, I'd like to see a video on it. I don't have a grill and we don't use an oven or a stove in the summer.
