So crazy . You guys are a blast. I’m pretty close to you all in age, within a year. My sister and I used to make audio recordings of ourselves being radio hosts and interviewing movie stars(all voices acted out by the two of us) we would make commercials abd do sound affects . One commercial that we made stands out : Girl 1 Girls notice house soft and shiny my hair is (valley girl accents) Girl 2 Yeah how’d you do it? Girl 1 With raid to kill bugs dead (chhh chh sound of raid can spraying ) 😂

90s was the surge of changes from the 80s. Don't get me wrong, the 90s had it's clicks but it was the beginning of what most 80s teens considered the end of an era and the start of something completely different! Music took a drastic change beginning with Nirvana! Style changed completely with teens headed more towards the goth look or as some call it today, "Emo"while metal bands cut their hair short and politics changed the world in the late 90s. Grant it, the times were better than the 2000s by all, and I mean all means!!! But the 80s had a completely different feel all together. A free feel.

I was a year younger than you guy's, I had just turned 13 in 1990 & my Dad never let me touch his camcorder in fear I would break it, press the wrong button or drop it. I was small & thin, they made them big, heavy & when we got ours in March 1989 I was 11, & it was like $1,200 a big investment for my Dad. Even he wouldn't take it on vacation with us in fear he would break it. He made tape recordings on my Fisher Price Kids tape recorder instead, when we took trips. I really wish he wasn't afraid to take it places, it would have been so cool to have those video's. We went to the Catskills in New York, all those wonderful hotels we went to, The Nevele, Kutchers, The Pines, Fallsview, Brickman's, Stevensville, have all been closed, condemned, it's sad, the last time I went to all those places I had the best memories, it was the 1980's, I was in the day camps, now I can't even go back there to look, so watching your awesome channel, makes me wish my Dad made more recordings, he wouldn't even let my Mom touch it. He did take a camera though, so I do have some photo's of our trips. It's cool how Darrell your friend was always with you, slept over like your parents adopted him as their son almost & your still best buddies, love that. Very cool, sweet parents, always up for an adventure, never too tired, very patient too. When we went on trips, we always went back after 10 minutes in the car to check the house & make sure all the lights were off, idono to check stuff, but me & my sister were rushed out of there to get on the road to beat the traffic, our Grandma lived with us & came too, so did my sister's Kid Sister doll & stuffed animals, so the car was packed with stuff & people. Your video's remind me a lot of that wonderful time, thank you for sharing.
