I absolutely love these videos. I really wish I had footage of me and my friends. I do have a cassette tape which I recorded over a couple of nights and I treasure it. I was 12 in 1990 and had probably the best summer of my life. It was the first summer I had my pony. So the days were full of riding. Had so many good times with my friends, we moved into our caravan in the garden for the summer, we got up to alsorts, sneaking out in the middle of the night. First year I got drunk too. Music was amazing, as was gaming. I darent even say some of the things we did. I am so grateful I was this age in this year. Not a care in the world. The 80s and early 90 were the best.

I've watched a lot of your videos and I can't get over how INCREDIBLY FORTUNATE you are to have so, so much footage of yourself and your family from all those years ago. We all should be so blessed. It's a lot of fun to peak back in time and see what it was like in the late 80s/early 90s, I was so young at the time and videos like this help put me back there.

Fast forward, july 28, 2019 I was at my son's wedding. I'm glad you recorded your mom and dad. Its awesome that you can see his face anytime you need too. Your mom seems like a nice woman. Man this is so cool. I was born and raised in Pensacola and Pensacola is where I still call home. Living in a Beach town is phenomenal. I just love this channel. We come from the same era. And we may have crossed paths while you were on vacation at this time because I was out on the beach the whole summer that year and I recognize that hotel . GAMEBOY!!!! And when you guys got into Pensacola I could clearly tell I saw the paper plant. I saw Davis highway. The infamous 3 Mile bridge which they have been rebuilding. The old one is being torn down and the new one is under construction. I saw gulf breeze as y'all were passing through. It's crazy cause I remember the way it used to look and it looks so different now. And when I was seeing this in the video it just brought tears to my eyes. Because I miss that time so much and the way my town used to look. And I haven't seen much footage of it on KZfaq and then I stumbled on your channel and this video. Thank you for uploading this video and even though the Pensacola part was short you brought back some visuals that made my day. I only wish that part of the video wasn't sped up.

I'd love to see more of the footage. For someone who grew up in the 80s, these videos mean a lot to me being able to see, even though they have nothing to do with me. It's great seeing things from that time. One of my regrets is not having any real video from my own childhood. I believe around the time you were visiting Florida here, I was with my own family at Disney. I actually remember getting hurt at a waterpark (we went to one almost every summer) and my mom bought me a Donald Duck watch to try to cheer me up. I started 3rd grade a few weeks later. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to more.

We were in Panama City June of 90. I was 20 years old then so it was party on. Everyone told me that I had a great time. Luckily no video that I know of. \m/

I am from India and we can just stop by the side of the road and ask someone about the route to take when going to new places. But I have no idea how people used to go new places in US in 80s when there was no Google maps. These videos are awesome. I like 80s and 90s and I am enjoying 80s US through these videos. I graduated high school in 1987, I remember friends, family and life being so interactive and social. In person socialization seems lost now. I had a fallout with my family 15 years ago and we don’t speak. These videos are bittersweet for me as well, because I remember being close with my family and interacting like this. I miss it so much and this helps me to remember those times. Thankyou for sharing these, I truly appreciate it!!!! I feel bad for kids growing up now, because social media has taken over in person interaction. The future adult generations will probably look back just as fondly on growing up in the 2020’s fifty years from now though. I guess it’s all relative!!!!!!!!! I am stilll happy I grew up in the 8’s though!!!

I was 17, and in 6 months and 1 day I will attend my first concert. SLAYER at the Los Angeles Sports arena. It was exactly January 15, 1991. All I got to say about that is WOW!🤘👍👽♠️my math ain't so good.
