ahaja007 Everyone I've seen play it have gotten frame lag down to around 20fps, runs much better on my phone at higher settings. Playing without a problem might be possible if you don't mind frame stutter and latency issues. I'm really not sure how Ouya can actually get wrong what phones get right.

Serious answer, same point as other android TV consoles. You can load streaming video apps on it and use it as a media center (Netflix/Hulu/amazon/etc) or you can get into more gray area stuff and load Kodi onto it with an addon like Exodus and stream free movies/tv shows. You can load NES/SNES/Genesis/etc emulators on it and use it along with the included controller as a retro emulation console. If you have a modern Geforce card in your PC you can load Moonlight game streaming onto it and then stream games from your PC to TV like that. There are obviously alternative methods to doing everything I mentioned, but that would be the point of the Ouya if I had one. I got something similar, a Mad Catz MOJO for like $50, and use it exclusively as a Kodi streaming device.

Doing a search for your needs, I see a few things in a similar $60 CDN price range, but the ChronusMax plus seems pretty flexible for its size. Do your own searches for comparison, including terms like "adapter". Also, google "xbox shaped ps3 controller" it's another option, but less flexible, and varying build quality

Yep, very unfortunate. However, the Ouya Saviours Project has since revived the store with fully unlockable games. Pretty amazing.

Considering there are allot of on-line battle games it could have taken that place on the market (even get exclusive android games that are meant for ouya due to controls). I have one, it is cool if you side load every fricking game because most of the games cost and also have micro transactions so it is a shit... Unless you use it to emulate games from other consoles or as I said, you side load games (I have GTA, Sonic, Crazy Taxi and other games side loaded and they works fine, but sure I prefer to use a Dreamcast or PS2 for that games)

The Tegra 3 is a quad-core 1.7GHz processor, which is pretty strong. Some popular desktops/laptops on the market don't even have that. Heck, only the really popular and high end smartphones/tablets come with such a processor. It also has 1GB of RAM, which isn't that much, but most smartphones/processors only have 512MB or 1GB, so it's equally matched. If it had more RAM, I would think it would be ahead of the game.
