Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers doubles down on his criticism of struggling Packers players. After suffering a third consecutive loss, Rodgers was asked what needs to change to right the ship, Rodgers did not hold back suggesting that struggling players simply should get their reps cut. Nick Wright, Chris Broussard, Greg Jennings and Kevin Wildes discuss.

The problem everyone has about Rodgers is that while he is quick to call out his team mates, he is the first to complain about criticism against him and is ridiculously petty against anyone who calls him out.

Like Ben Roethlisberger. The reason it’s worse than ben though is Pat McAfee’s platform is on tv and is on the internet. Ben went on a local radio station so it didn’t get the Listen levels like rodgers. Aaron is not a leader but wants to be respected like one

Lol Brady really got some of you fans brain dead 😂 It’s Rodgers fault the receivers can’t get open, drop passes consistently, the ol is terrible the defense is overrated the special teams still sucks but yeah Rodgers getting rightfully paid for winning back to back MVPs is the reason they’re losing 😂

100% CORRECT. Here is the best part. Rodgers KNOWS it and doesn't care a whit. That's why he gets out front of it all by blaming others before it gets to him. Its all a charade. Ok I went on a rant but it was mostly going over Rodgers interview and what Nick pointes out. The Packers have not allowed Rodgers to take control like Brady was able in Tampa and was even told to just worry about being a QB and yet he is being asked questions that a Coach should be being asked. As someone who has watched every game since coach Matt was hired I still do not know if he a good had coach or not , once again The Packers head coach is hiding behind Rodgers to the point where like with Coach Mike at the end no one was really sure how much of roll The head coach is playing in all this without an owner............

Aaron has had great receivers and great defenses with the packers in his career. What are you talking about? No one projected Jerry Rice to be as good as he was. He was taken low in the draft. He finally doesn't have davante adams who has made Aaron great and now he is getting exposed. I agree that the receivers are dropping passes but it's a team sport and it's about being a leader. He didn't care to create any chemistry and now he can't trust them which makes it bad for everyone. He wants to throw it more when they should be running the ball more. The packers have had several hall of fame players in Aaron's career with them.

Well, the reports are the Packers ordered him a comparable contract, but he wanted out of Green Bay. My understanding is it was a life style choice, he wanted to go to a bigger area. Vegas is a top tier city for rich people, and there is no state income tax. So $30mil/yr, he'd be leaving about $2.7mil on the table to WI state income tax. So it's a double whammy. Maybe he had a problem with Rodgers behind the scenes, but that's never been reported as the catalyst for his departure

@@GQ-jv9uw Quick Google search will show that Devonte Adams HIMSELF said the Packers offered him a larger contract, as explained by Sports Illustrated among other websites. Brett and Rodgers are both HoF QB's and one was a "gunslinger" that had charm and Rodgers was nerdy and doesn't turn the ball over , Brett also had a far better coaching system most of his career and overall way better rosters , both only won 1 Super bowl. Manning who is known for being a great leader would maybe only have won 1 SB and his bother winning 2 , point is until Rodgers goes to a ready made roster like most QB's and fails , then I blame him more then I would have or do. The Packers do not make sense , Rodgers is your best weapon and most costly but give him one of The worst WR cores I have seen , I forgot Rodgers is on the older side as well so the "window is shutting" . He just won back to back MVP and should be still one of the best for like 4 more years if not way more but I am worried he really does want to retire a Packers and if knows they are not good enough to win he may retire , since he had to wait behind Brett so long it will hurt his all-time stats so I don't think he could really add enough to be worth it unless he plays till 45ish.
