Tony, we are so much on the same page, with regard to the mid-‘70’s full-size Ford products. Over the years I’ve been shopping for a ‘73-‘75 Country Squire. Every one I see is missing some options I “have to have.” Except, unlike you, I pass on buying what’s 80-90% of what I’m looking for. Years go by, still no Country Squire in my garage. You’ve opened up a whole new way to look at listings from now on, knowing options can be added.

Hi Tony I’ve been watching you for a while and can relate to your interest in the 70s ford and Lincoln Mercury cars. My favorite as well. Your last video on the green Mercury plugged fuel line, I had a similar experience with my 78 for Thunderbird. I solved it by blowing compressed air from the fuel pump back to the tank. It pushed out the blockage. I then added some sea foam treatment in the tank with fresh gasoline. It sent all the debris from the tank into my fuel filter. After it finally cleared out, I installed a new filter and started using 100 percent gasoline which made a huge difference. In fact that’s all I use in both my 78s. Enjoy your videos!

Another great vid Tony! I did the exact thing on my 78 Bronco....but with ONE wrinkle! The wash motor would not work. Tony, another great tutorial video. I can imagine this upgrade being a whole lot easier without having to think about camera angles. Thanks for showing us how. The GM cars are not that easy as some intermittent wiper controls are in a stalk on the steering column although sometimes they're in the instrument panel. I think they used a different motor also, Be glad you're working on Fords. You may have heard this before, but you are can make a tool for the rings used to fasten radios and headlight switches in from a cheap 3/8 deep socket the right size. Just grind the end enough to leave two nibs straight across from one another the right depth and thickness then just use a thumb wheel rachet if needed. I prefer to tighten with only the socket. Hope you find this helpful Jim E

Gosh I love your cars!!! I remember the first truck I had when I started driving was a 1976 GMC Sierra short bed single cab with a 350 and a/t. The only options it had was bucket seats and a console period!which was an odd option at the time for sure! I wanted delayed wipers. I believe I bought the delay box from JC Whitney? Anyway, it was an add on control box that you attached to your dash. You would turn on your wipers and then turn on the delay box and adjust it as to the delay speed you wanted. Each time the wipers would come on there was a distinct click sound! I thought it was the neatest thing!!! I also had an FM radio converter added to my AM radio! Thought I was a big dog at 16 years old!! I've driven Lincoln Town Cars for the last 33 years and love them but the car I have always wanted is a 72-74 Lincoln Mark IV and I have never bought one. Life has just gotten in the way too many times. Now that I'm getting older It's not a necessity and actually I don't have the energy any longer to mess with one but sure do LOVE them. Your cars are soooo awsome! Wish I lived close to you so I could see them in person and talk with you! I'm in Northeastern North Carolina. Thanks so much for your videos! People talk about the dashboard in the 78, 79 Lincoln when they switched over to the Mercury/Ford style, I’m sure there are some different reasons for that, but I always thought they simply did it just to make it different from the Years before, just because it needed to be different for the newer model, not necessarily better, not necessarily worse, just something to show everybody that it was the newer model?
