Same. I mean in the opposite way than what I assume's happening. The school councillor is great but because we have government funding (yay Australia) my parents put me into other counselling and ngl she doesn't even know the difference between sexuality and gender identity and she makes me feel really iffy after every section.

My advice for learning your sexuality especially through dating get to know the other person really well maybe get confirmation they’re gay bi whatever just be careful and try not to repeat James mistakes... if you are a lgbt youth and exploring your sexuality just be very careful

This video has helped comfort me so much since this year I've figured out I'm pansexual and I've been content with that but I've struggled figuring my gender identity and figuring I'm non-binary and when I found your tik toks they were so amazing and this video also helped so much!

my problem is that, i know i’m gay-ish. i don’t think i’m bi. i might be pan, because i feel like i would date all genders or anyone gender non conforming and it’s been so long and i thought i was bi for like 2 years, then pan for 1 and know i feel like i am pan, but i just don’t like that feeling of that label. i’m just so confused
@BowAndAro
@BowAndAro 4 жыл бұрын
How I have understood it, if you are bi you can still like more genders than just male and female. But you still look at the genders in different ways and you may feel more attention to one gender than others. But with pan you just don't look at genders the same way and you are attracted to all the genders the same way. I might be wrong 🤷‍♀️

@b1llie

hi! i know i'm a bit late but if this is still happening, my advice would be to talk to them about it. either drop subtle hints that them trying to rush you makes you uncomfortable, or just be like "hey guys, i have something i wanted to talk about." and let them know that you want to take things slowly, one by one and that it feels uncomfortable to be rushed. if they don't respect that then either talk to them even more clearly about where you're at rn, how you want to progress at your own pace and how you're feeling, or tell them you don't want to talk about the topic of gender identity/ whatever kind of identity it is, or if things are really bad, just cut them off. i know the last option is a harsh and hard one, i know what it feels like having to cut off someone who you trusted more than yourself. but as cheesy as it sounds, things get better over time. and hopefully things don't get that extreme and your friends respect your feelings and don't try to rush you anymore. I hope you're not still in this situation, and sorry for the late advice haha hope you're doing well! if you need to talk, i'm always here :) stay safe!!💕

*random question but* is there a right time to come out? Like, do you just realize when you’re able to come out (Sry if I’m phrasing this wrong). Bc I see ppl coming out and I can never see myself doing the same. Coming out just seems wrong to me.
@imaginaryguide1895
@imaginaryguide1895 3 жыл бұрын
For some people, when to come out is clearer than others (say, if you think you have an unsupportive family and you finally get out on your own). And it also depends on what you come out *as*. Say, if you're nb but you don't care about pronouns, you could practice all other aspects of your identity without having to formally "come out" to anyone (this seems close to my own situation). If you're bisexual, it may never come up. Or maybe you meet someone who you think might need the comfort of knowing they're not alone. There are more reasons than just public assertion to come out. Just always come out for you, and try to come out when it's safe.

Hey, I really like your video, but I have a question, is it possible to think to be a non-binary person, but when you were younger you were really feminine and like really wanted to be a girl but now you want to be a non-binary person, or is it possible I am just making an idea that i want to be non-binary, (hope this make sense, i'm not so good at english)

I kind of have the same 'problem'. A lot of afab non-binary people seem to always have been androgynous or always felt wrong in being a girl, while I had no problems with being called a girl and was quite the girly girl as a kid. I never dressed super androgynous (though I also don't wear skirts and dressed because they make me uncomfortable) and all of those things made me really question wether I actually am agender or wether I was making it up.

hi! for anyone who's struggling with this, here's what I think. you can be a non-binary person even if you didn't have similar feelings of dysphoria/discomfort or were very happy to be a girl/boy as a child. feelings and emotions can change over time. what matters isn't the past, it's the present. it's how you're feeling right now. even if you were extremely masculine/feminine and were happy to be a girl/boy, you could change to want to identify as a different gender later on. from there on it's simply finding whatever label makes you the most comfortable, IF you want one in the first place ofc (no one is obligated to putting a label on themselves, it's all about whatever makes you happy and feel comfortable~). ofc your feelings aren't made up! follow those feelings and be whatever you want to be :) there are lots of different genders out there so do as much research as you can! sorry for the late reply but i hope this helps! stay safe everyone💕 if anyone needs someone to talk to, i'm here!

My older sister is lesbian and my mom and step dad supported her so I kinda have a safe space. But when I told my grandma I was bi (I don't feel bi anymore) she said I was too young, she asked me if I was bi because of my older sister, she said when she was my age she wasn't running around saying she was heterosexual, etc. That was kinda dumb because even though I had proof and stuff, she still thought I was too young. I can't wait to tell her I'm currently identifying as non-binary Edit: Well I’ve been questioning for awhile, I’ve recently figured out I’m genderfluid and ace bi :)

Well there’s sexual Attraction and romantic attraction so maybe you are sexually attracted to girls but not romantically attracted to girls.
@b1llie
@b1llie 3 жыл бұрын
as the previous reply said, yes, there are different kinds of attraction. perhaps it could be that you're more sexually attracted to girls than you are romantically. and other things to think about could be whether girls/people of other genders are as attractive to you as the gender you're most attracted to. or comparing how exactly it is that you're attracted to them compared to whatever gender you currently feel like you are definitely attracted to (iF you have one, cause ace's and aro's exist~). or perhaps you have certain genders that you are specifically more attracted to (inclusive of non-binary genders). and as for a sexuality like pan, i guess think about how you view genders when thinking about relationships. pans are basically gender-blind. as for lesbian as well as other sexualities, consider whether committing to a long-term relationship or marriage just isn't your thing, whether that's for boys, girls, and anyone of any gender. sorry if this reply was a bit all over the place, i'm sleep deprived and starving lol. and the most important thing is to take your time!! don't rush, just go at your own pace~ if you have any more questions or just need to talk, i'm here any time :) stay safe~💕 ALSO! do lots of research! there are tons of different sexualities out there, make sure to properly explore! and if it makes you uncomfortable, don't feel obligated to have a label at all. not everything needs to be perfectly clear with straight answers and specific labels. all that matters is that you're being your most authentic self, and you're happy and comfortable :)

I'm a trans boy but my issue is that I've talked to my my family and dad specifically about LGBTQ+ and he understands well and accepts, but hes talked about how hes proud of me for getting rid of gender roles by having a neutral preferred name, short hair, and being generally more masc. I of course still get called a girl and get called "My daughter" He tells me that its cool how I look androgynes cause he still sees me as a girl even though I'm completely masc. Lucky for me I was born with more testosterone so my voice is deeper and I have more body hair, I've also been working out. I'm scared to come out though because my sister came out as 50 different things for attention form peers and parents. She ruined my coming out cause ill be compared to her. Shes not the best person and has ruined our family. I just don't know how to come out. I'm scared. I want to be accepted and be comfortable.

Hi Alex, fellow ace person here with some (hopefully decent) advice. 🙂 It can be really hard when people don't get it, especially because asexuality is so misunderstood in general. If it comes up in conversation and you have the emotional space for it, you can try gently correcting your friends with evidence from your own experience, e.g. "Actually, I've been talking to/watching/reading about a lot of ace people online, and while some of us don't have sex, there are plenty of asexual people who do!" Your friends not understanding isn't fun, but it doesn't necessarily mean you have to leave them right away. Give them some time, I'm sure this is all very new and confusing for them! If after a while it's clear that they have no interest in learning about you and correcting their ignorance, then it might be time to distance yourself. And in the meantime, keep yourself open to forming new friendships as well with people who will love you for you! Good luck! You're going to be brilliant. 💜
