Coaches don't come to clubs which are in a mess, they only looses if they come look at Spuds how many coaches didn't want to come. It's a new thing coaches get contracts with all kind of securities in it. So to replace coach isn't easy anymore.

I do think that ETH has made mistakes and I have always felt that Sancho should get a proper run at RW, especially with Hojlund's arrival but the more I find out about his conduct and attitude, the more I find myself lining up behind the manager- we have to back him and give him time.

Antony starts every week over sancho because while neither is producing offensively antony works his socks off defensively and his workrate probably doubles sanchos every game. Thats an easy choice to make as a manager everyday of the week be serious.

Nothing wrong with the boss having an ego. And every manager has his preference for certain players. Yet a manager may not have to like a player to play him. Even Alex Ferguson had admitted that. Basically you can forgive any player if that player delivers consistently and works his ass off for the team. Ive not seen Sancho do that on the pitch.

I'm totally relaxed about Onana playing for his country at AFCON. It's a chance for our backup keeper to get some valuable first team match time which they otherwise might never get- and if Onana does get an injury or suspension we want our backup to feel part of the team and ready to go. I would never moan about a player turning out for their country in any event, I'm Scottish and see it like a 'sacred duty', I would always put country over club, I know a lot of you will disagree with that.

The amount of players who are considered world class who "Haven't quite worked out at United" is shocking. If drama revolves around the same common denominator all the time at one point does it become eligible for blame? United have been responsible for nosediving so many players over the last decade and at the same time failed to nurture young talent to the required standards required to be in a top class side. It's never been a worse time to be a Red.

These drama's work to ETH advantage. It deflects from the lack of performance over the last 16 months. I am not interested in where the team ended and the cup win, I am interested in seeing a progression in the way we play. Look at how quickly the Spurs manager have got them playing a good brand of football.

This is the painful bit while he removes the last of previous manager's singings, and carries on his rebuild. Hopefully, he gets a decent recruitment team, a sporting director and different ownership or at least any combo of the above. This crisis is years in the making. Flipping the manager isn't going to help.
