I lived in Indonesia for a few months when I was a child as my Dad was working there. It is the most beautiful place with the nicest people I have ever met.

I'm never try Indonesian snack but I've tried some of indonesian meal like Rendang, Gado Gado, Tilur balado, Indomie and I really like it!😍

Im Indonesian, i dont realy like the pagoda but i eat it when i was little. Indonesian have alot of snacks, if u realy like the tea candy there's actualy alot of unique taste snacks made in Indonesia (Kopiko, Relaxa, Tamarine and many other stuff) :D

I buy those ginger candies at the local supermarket in the import section. I love the taste and it really does settle the stomach when it is upset.

Biscuit Selamat with tea it's the perfect breakfast for me, and the regal to! It's perfect if you combine the biscuits with tea, milk or coffe, it's delicious. You just dip the biscuits into the tea

Thats ginger candy is the replacement for beer in winter or cold weather. Lots of indonesian don't drink alcohol. But not everyone

That Pagoda comes in many different flavours. I love the one in green tin. My childhood must-item to grab whenever visiting drugstore 😆

Foreigners and Indonesians'(or maybe for some countries too) tongue sure are different. I like Jahe(ginger) tho, well this is my opinion. They may taste bad, like, stings or hot in your mouth, but their smell aren't that bad. They smell kind of like aromatherapy scent(idk how to say it). Have you heard of jamu? Jamu is like a traditional ginger drink that is, of course, made of ginger. But guess what, they sell jamu for kids and make it taste better than the original so kids love jamu. Go and try them sometimes!

Taro is one of legit snacks in Indonesia, just so you know ! 😚 that's definitely my favorite snack since childhood !

Now that's my childhood treats.. They have what they called "Beng-Beng" its a chocolate covered wafer with caramel and rice crispy. I surprised they don't put Suzanna Chocolate on that box, its a Dark Chocolate nougats, that Taro is my favorites and the Silver Queen, they comes with Dark Chocolate too..

To be darn honest, some of the snacks you 2 were eatin' are rarely sold in Indonesia, mostly sold on other places (outside Indonesia or any place in America or any place in Europe of course), and they're usually tug away in a corner, so... it's pretty hard to find them. But yeah, Indonesia is the best place for snacks! Because sweet and tasty snacks always "sweeten" up our lives. XD

Actually the ginger candy is very delicious if you buy from the other brand, it has less ginger taste and it was covered with sugar on the outside. A little bit hot but after you eat it, your body will feel warm.

There are few snack i can't find it at indomart or warung at indonesia

Well, I recognized most of those snacks....Marie Regal Biscuits, Pagoda, ginger candy, silver queen are old snacks I knew when I grew up in Indonesia. I have not have those for decades. But, good for you guys...maybe try different Indonesian foods later?
