really cool! I've done the software implementation of J1850 VPW, and having a chip to do it seems much smarter especially if it can handle the responses in an async way. This has tons of potential for stock pcm/bcm/cluster hacking!

I'm in the middle of an aftermarket ECU implementation for Corvettes, attempting to interface the J1850 with the CAN on the ECU and I need help developing a signal convertor. This seems like a good starting point. Can I enlist your assistance?

I dig this! Is this for reading the j1850 or simulating out? I just finished by piggyback and incorporated an opto to my gauge cluster to hopefully read the data from the 1850 line to output to gauges. I just need to layout the code.

I'm looking for something like this to communciate with J1850 PWM to talk via Ford SCP protocol as used on ECC-V ecus. Fancy building one of those? There used to be a generic board using the ET7190 IC but seems to be obsolete now.

Hi there my name is JJ and I have a 2010 VW Jetta and the Ecm is no good I bought a used one with the exact same part # Question, the immobilizer e prone is the same 8 legs but in the opposite of the card, it is the same process that the one you did for a 2002 or so ? To replace it ?

I need some experts here. I’ve purchased the gm articulating truck mode power running boards off of the newer trucks. I want to get them operational on mine. There is a wiring diagram out there and details on the gm upfitters page. Everything I’m seeing is the module has a gmlan wire that it needs to operate with my truck being an 2004 I believe it uses class 2 data which is apparently close to the same thing but not exactly. Does anyone know how I can make this work I want to retain all of the factory functions of these boards. I know that this is a challenge but someone has to be savvy enough to make this work.

Absolutely a missing part that I need to drive my dash. I swapped engines in my 2002 Tahoe with a newer E-ROD 6.2 and the power train and body require a translator. I'm going to look over the GItHub and order a board or two.
