Noted high performance engine builder Tom Nelson provides insights as to which components he employs to achieve in excess of 2,000 horsepower from a Chevy LS engine with twin turbochargers. The video is courtesy of ARP, as their high performance fasteners were used extensively in the build. Nelson started with a GM LSX block and added components from ARP, Brodix, Callies, Cloyes, Comp Cams, Holley, JE Pistons, Manley Performance, PAC, plus his own patented mirror image NRE twin turbochargers and Alien fuel injection sytem. The engine is tested on the Nelson Racing Engines DTS dyno in Chatsworth, California at various boost levels, culminating with 2,113 horses.
