7 жыл бұрынAnother customer engine. Symptoms are low compression. It turns out that the ring was compressed and stuck in the ring groove and the valves were not adjusted properly. I installed a new set of bearings and cleaned the engine the best I could.

Jeeze David, judging by the oxidation that poor motor looks like it has spent some time in a wet humid environment. Can't wait to see if it can be resurrected. What brand and size is your ultrasonic cleaner?

And you didn't go anywhere near the valves which was the whole point for me watching this video. Namely the springs are not held into place with circlips as in OS four strokes. I have four halves and cannot work out how to put them back and/or if they are broken!!! (I got a replacement cyl head for the motor as the exhaust thread was stripped!)

Kind of funny what there could be to dislike? Political position of the engine, leaning to the right maybe.
