Hi Chris , didnt expect the changeover to operate that quick .....I bought a couple of changeovers but i think they are motorised...I much refer the one your using ....Do you have a link to the one your using ...?? Also i think you will need to put a label on your switchboard to state there are multiple supplies present....

Thanks for the straight up and honest information on your videos. My neighbor a few doors down had installed a solar system with battery for considerable $$$$$ last year. Since then they avoid using power in hope of recovering some of their money then recently their hopes were dashed when they changed the export tariff from 7.9c to 3.3c p/kWh recently.

They need to stop selling to the grid and use it. Store it in a battery during the day and use it off at night. Install the ATS you see in the video. Affordable and works a treat. Best way to get your $ back now is to do what I showed in the video

Easy to install. That unit will also start a generator if you have one with built-in 2 or 3 wire auto start.

I had a manual transfer switch at my old property, I use to switch over to grid power when the batteries ran low. That was back in the days of lead batteries where winter time was always challenging 😆

Lead acid batteries were great in their day. Lithium batteries are a real game changer, as you know.

Looks like not a bad unit and rated at 100A (23kw) so should handle the load. I doubt that it'll activate very often (probably only for testing) but nice that you have the option there...🤠😎

Will handle all my loads easy. A normal single phase house only has a 70amp service.

That would work here for the TOU rates the Utility has offered. But solar is just better.

Would work for a lot of things. Just need to get out of the Box the Government wants us all in. They don't like free thinkers.

So you cannot run both inverters at the same time to the loads? They will not phase match?

They are a 5kW and a 8kW, so no, they will not phase match. If they were both 8kW or both 5kW, the same model and programming. Then yes you can have many units. However, that would be stupid. Why not just buy a larger inverter? They make them off the shelf up to 50kW. But you miss the point of the video.
