Hi there. What kind of sugar are you using? I am from South Africa we do not have that kind of sugar paste. Just white, brown or caramel sugar. And quantities then if using sugar like ours ... pretty please 🙃

Yes everything is expensive making your own does work out cheaper in the end if you have the ingredients.. You get a lot more for your money. Best, Rik

@@edwardhudson9851 Cheers mate I don't do any flannel at all - Ive worked in Indian and Chinese restaurants for real. OK I don't get many views buy hey ho I'm not chasing that I like folks to make and enjoy something to eat. I can also freely admit I walked into a Chinese back in the day with NOT one penny in my pockets - I was broke I worked for my dinners and I became real good friends with some amazing Chinese friends.
