This full body pilates workout is a great routine to implement whether your goal is pilates for weight loss, full body strengthening, or giving your body a more "toned" look. This routine includes a warmup, a full body pilates workout with no equipment, and cooldown stretching. My pilates workouts are easy to follow, use simple cues, and have a balanced approach to cueing- talking for form tips and giving you breaks from talking to focus on the movements. I use elements commonly found in fitness videos like interval timers to keep the pace moving in between exercises, and to allow you to focus on the movements, rather than counting repetitions. My hope is that this routine will be easy to follow, easy to understand my cueing, effective at challenging and strengthening you and supportive to your weight loss/ wellness journey.

Ok im old 55 and heavy (depression anxiety etc) finally getting help from being abused my entire life I want to be strong because due to my age and weight I can no longer get on my horse unassisted...my goal is to be able to ride him get on him without harm to him and me....losing weight is a bonus...ill keep u updated starting tomorrow!

I just completed day one! I am ready to take my life back and be there for my family fully. I cried a little when i couldnt lift my pelvis up with one leg in the air. However, i cried even harder after the workout because even though it was hard for me, I did it. I did it to the best of my ability. As long as I keep showing up that is what matters! It can only strengthen me 🤍 Looking forward to the next 27 days! I might pair this with a short walk as well.

After months of not going to the gym and gaining weight, I decided to try this and hopefully see some change. Losing weight is harder now that I'm not in my 20 or even 30s. This workout felt very doable and these were moves that even I could do without feeling breathless.

I do pilates as a toning practice but my main forms of working out are yoga (daily) and cardio (treadmill, bike, walking 3-4x a week). So nice to find pilates workouts on the more gentle side such as this one.

So hey everyone Just an update, as I stated consistency was my problem and as any other human I have an excuse which is work 😢. Anyways I have started again and the only way I can sustai until it becomes a habit is to drink pain killer, because the pain keeps me from going again after about a week.

Hello Rachel, I just discovered you on KZfaq today as I've been looking for wall pilates/strength/weight loss free program. I love your mindset and how you are real and not sugarcoating things up. I just started "Beginner Pilates for Weight Loss & Strength 28 Day Challenge" and completed Day 1! I printed the calendar and hung it in my kitchen so I can cross off every workouts. I have never used exercise as a way to achieve overall wellness, but my body is telling me it needs it. My flexibility is a joke and I feel older than I need too. I feel like this is something that I can commit to as a personal challenge, whereas Ive always given up with high impact as a beginner though thin, i wasnt fit or flexible enough to follow though. I am average weight , 120 , 52 year old female. Active with work , but changed careers 4 months ago and am not getting the cardio I did for 25 + years .. I am also naturally lazy so finding something that keeps my interest is a blessing... I am so looking forward to challenging myself to take the action needed to get where I really want. Here's to 2024. My goal is to gain superior flexibility and drive to ultimately combined this with strength training to transform my overall wellness. I can see its vital for my body and mind to feel good agaiñ. Thank you for this opportunity.

I am so glad I found your videos! I am going through menopause and weight loss is just becoming so impossible but I’m sticking it out. Going to the gym and adding this Pilates routine. I am so happy to have discovered this and will start my routine today! I have plantar fascitis and its been difficult to find the exercise that doesnt aggravate it. Since I got it its been challenging to keep a good weight, so I gained and had to pause Zumba and Muay Thai. I think this routine would be perfect for my condition plus doing Intermittent fasting- I can lose the weight I gained and get back to exercises I love the most. THANK YOU for sharing your knowledge. I just went back to work after being a stay at home mom for 14 years! I was able to build work outs in to my day, but now I come home SO exhausted. Since August, I've put on 10 lbs and have been frustrated feeling unable to fit exercise in to my "new" life. I'm super excited to have found this as I can easily fit it in to my morning routine. I've printed out the schedule and look forward to starting day 1 tomorrow! 🤞

I’m so excited! I am 11 weeks post back surgery and I have been watching these videos during my recovery time, waiting to be cleared by my dr, and until I felt comfortable enough to do bridges. Tonight I was able to make it through this entire session with zero pain. Huge thanks for this easy to follow workout. I will follow it to build strength and then move on to more challenging ones. 😊

I have a neck/spinal injury and ive gained a lot of weight since this happened last year. I was looking for something that isn't harsh on my neck but will help me shed the weight. Obv this day 1 of the challenge but my body already feels so much better.

Day 1 complete! I’m going to try to comment everyday I make it through a new one. This workout was just challenging enough for me to feel the burn, but not so hard I ended up feeling lost, behind, and discouraged. I’m super excited for the rest of this month. ❤

I did a different Day 1 challenge of yours before I found the 2024 version - I'll continue tomorrow with the new version. I also printed the calendar. My goal is geared towards toning, but more importantly towards finding myself inside my body after a period of intense stress. I am combining this workout with a daily short ministepper routine, and I will continue going to the pilates gym once or twice a week with my partner as our special couples activity. Thank you for helping me find accountability

Good afternoon! Dumb question , How did you print out the calendar? It only shows less than half of calendar on my printer. I know I am not very computer savvy but just can not configure it out. New subscriber! You showed up on my FB timeline this morning. What a blessing! I just completed day 1 despite having a fractured ankle. I know how to modify so I won’t cause further injury. I actually did Pilates with an instructor using the reformer roughly 20 years ago. I loved it and am looking to get back to using it once my ankle heals. My first time doing Pilates and with you. I have to say I turned 56 back in November and this was easy but effective cause I felt the target muscles. I enjoy lifting weights but at this stage of of my life I want to try something new and be more flexible with my body. Looking forward to each day. Thank you. hugs

I have mental health problems and really over weight. I am 54 years old and have suffered trauma most of my life. I also self harm and have bad thoughts. I getting help and saw this challenge and trying to do it never done Pilates before. Just done my first day and enjoyed it can really feel my muscle work and helped me focus on what I was doing.😊😊😊

I’m only a few minutes into the video and I can tell I desperately need to stick with this for the full 28 days. My entire body is so tight and thighs are cramping. I got to get my body back in shape again.

Just started my 3rd challenge with Rachel and I absolutely love her workouts!! I've done a ton of workouts, Pelaton bike, gyms and diets and this by far is the most comfortable, enjoyable and most addictive workouts. I literally can't wait to come home from work and hop on the days workout. I can happily say I've lost 24 lbs. I lost 2 sizes and feel confident. 💖🤩💪🏻

Today is my day 1! I plan to do this challenge everyday except Sundays, so it will be stretched out a bit longer than the 28 days. More than anything I want to feel stronger and more toned. Slow and steady. I want this to be a new habit that lasts much longer than 28 days!

i’m struggling with chronic depression and my therapist recommended i work out more (duh) but that i also find workouts that feel manageable even on my worst days, THIS IS IT!!! i felt so accomplished and good after this, and it was totally manageable and not overwhelming at all!!! you’ve earned a follower im totally doing this whole challenge!

I really loved day 1! I tried HIT training for a month and a half, and my knees couldn't take the torture. I definitely need to strengthen my core & tone. Thanks for posting these videos. They are definitely going to help with my journey. By the way, Day 1 was perfect. The stretching felt so good.😍

I'm starting your 28 day challenge today 💪🏼🎉 i believe in the many benefits of Pilates, I've experienced them already in the past, but went totally off track with 3 little kids biting my toes and rolling around 😅😂 now that they are all at day care, I'm motivated to give myself a little bit of extra care and love 💕 hope to keep coming to your channel for long!
