fun theory : casca is stocked in a loop which Irvine made , so she wakes up every day in a state of memory loss and unconsciousness then later on the day she starts to remember things and gets angry and attacks people around her then they ( Irvine , my guess) drug her and the loop goes on ..

This chapter was so damn good. Not much happened, but seeing Casca in action, the false paradise she finds herself trapped in, seeing Griffith's menacing presence haunting every inch of Falconia, the heartwrenching moments of distant romance, not to mention the art looks so much better and more like the old Berserk. The dialogue and writing also feels just as strong as it used to be. Really hyped for the new arc now.

I thought it interesting that Irvine didn't bow to Griffith until Locus said his name (it may be a coincidence, he may have just arrived). It seems that Irvine brought Casca back from her escape attempt, but perhaps he isn't pleased with how Griffith is treating her. And something is definitely amiss with Zodd. I really hope Rickert catches wind of this situation and raids the capital with the Bakiraka and Silat to try and rescue Casca. Perhaps Guts and crew will join them eventually.

The peoblem with Casca's new dress isn't just thats it's from Griffith, its thst ot shares his motif. Not just the headdress, but the skirt portion shares his feather decor. Its a not so subtle show that she is in his power, not Guts.

I have a theory about Zodd not being down with Griffith anymore. Even if it‘s just about the pettiness of needing to own people vs fighting them and surviving alone. The luxury he lavishes in when Zodd is a man of just warrior instinct, he could even just be upset that Griffith took Casca thinking it will break Guts as a man before he finally gets his last duel with him. Zodd is all about the thrill of the battle and show of strength, what I would like to imagine happening is that a God Hand emerges and surrounds himself with a bunch of apostles…this just denies him any thrill of battle, war is just TOO easy now for them. In his own way Zodd is still stuck on Guts, a mortal, a human with (as far as we know) no destiny chosen from the GH besides to be a worthy sacrifice gave him one of the best battles he’s has in his life. Since then he’s saved his life when something like bad luck cracked his sword finally (he gave him a fair chance, Guts still could’ve died even when a sword but he won) then to survive the Eclipse and continue to fight on. Killing multiple apostles and then giving him another fight at HOS where, to be honest…no winner was deducted, it was a draw until Griffith touched Casca. Then to top it all off, Guts climbed on his back, held his sword to his throat and they destroyed an insanely powerful being together. You look at his warrior mentality and take into account that Griffith is using his strength for narcissism and political control, that the wars they fight are barely even warm ups for them, and that ontop of that Griffith has a vulnerability that makes him a child unable to fend for himself once a month. I won’t be surprised if Zodd says peace and goes to join Guts even if it’s just to help a struggler and experience the best and most important battle of fate. Whenever someone compares Guts to an apostle it’s always clear he most resembles Zodd; he is what Guts would be if he were to become an apostle and have not joined the BOTH, where Skull Knight is what Guts will be if he continues on with the armor and rage. Perhaps Zodd has a similar story to Guts prior to being chosen to be an apostle and realizes Griffith is akin to a person who stole his woman/ destroyed all he cared for. Maybe he’s just fed up that Griffith is dicking around and stealing Casca when Guts was in front of them and Zodd could finally have his battle…

Like Miura said in his last interview, I believe we are about 70% into the story. The past half year of Gaga taking its time, finding its pacing and now as we see in 372; gaining confidence in its style, more focused on visual story telling than dialogue, has for me at least been a huge relief. Berserk is still here, and I am confident we will see the story to an end. Will it be as good as coming from the hands of Miura himself? Of course now. Miura cannot be replaced, but his vision is true, and we should all be so thankful and aware of how lucky we are it is being seen to completion.

We optimists like to think Guts is gonna win, pessimists think Guts is gonna loose. I never entertained the idea that Ciasca might be the one who deals the final blow. It would be... poetic. Like the flow of causality.

The arts is so much better now, although the pacing & chance for dialogues scenes are still weird imo. Which is very understandable considering the team work with no scripts & trying to add something that wasn't available. I think they should improvise a lot more on this aspects, especially the dialogues, in which I think Miura sensei would be proud of it regardless. The audacity of Griffith ultimate evil knows no bounds bruh. He kidnapes her, the procees to put a spell on her again, make her delirious, like some kind of sleep walking day by day. I really hope we get more Casca chapters right away & we need encounter scenes between Casca & characters in Falconia, especially Sonia.

I hope so much that Casca get her revenge and come back to Guts

I'm just glad Berserk is back. This series deserves a proper ending after all these winters

damn the art has reached miuras status in this chapter. the earlier chapters had a few mistakes here and there especially in peoples faces but this is amazing.

This puts the nail in the coffin in that "Casca actually loves Griffith" BS, she fell in love with Guts and only wanted to stay with Griffith pre-Eclipse because she felt gulity for "betraying" someone she devoted her life to. Now she's one actively refecting his utopia.

Honestly, this entire chapter made my heart ache, just seeing Casca mention Guts' name, and her seeing him walk away, it just really made me feel disgusted and fueled with anger.

I see it as not only Griffith keeping posession of Casca, but also him rubbing his kingdom in her face. All that he was able to accomplish without her and Guts and the rest of the group. How he has achieved the kingdom he wanted

Thank you Kouji Mori and Studio Gaga. This chapter was excellent. So happy to see Casca again but equally sad to see the state Griffith has put her in. The struggle continues.

It's pretty apparent to me that she is still mentally recovering. She has definitely made progress as she no longer reverts to a child, but she is unexpressive, doesn't express much emotion, and is prone to outbursts of rage.

Another beautifully orchestrated and illustrated chapter! I can certainly sympathize with anyone who didn't feel comfortable with a continuation after Miura passed, but I think Mori and the team at Studio Gaga are really knocking this out of the park (thus far). Bravo!

One thing that I noticed is the improvement in the art. It certainly has improved chapter by chapter, and it is probably because Mori and crew are taking their time to stay as close to Miura’s style (which also explains the long wait as well). I hope they can continue their progress and finish what their friend and master, Kentaro Miura, started.

Aesthetically speaking the dress looks stunning on her. Symbolically speaking tho, it's almost haunting in a way as she has a winged headband.. and Griffith is always associated visually with wings and falcons..

Hopefully with Casca being in Falconia (built upon the ruins of King Gaseric's old empire) we get a history of King Gaseric's past, his lover, the sage that turn into Void, the first Eclipse, etc. I think the reason for the long hiatus is that the next few chapters will require a lot of momentum so they are going to release as many chapters as possible the following months to build up the excitement.

If we're going by the assumption that Griffith kidnapped Casca in order to control his current "Moon boy weakness", I wonder if a time might come where he realizes that solely capturing the Mother wasn't enough? We know the Moon boy is also heavily linked with Guts (his dad), albeit less than Casca, but what if by the next Full Moon Griffith/Moonboy finds himself seeking Guts as well? It seems like a natural follow up that Griffith would then have to kidnap Guts and put him under his control as well. What if we see a scenario where Griffith offers Guts and Casca a perfect life together under Falconia, as a way to keep them appeased and not have his Moonboy phases interrupt his plan? What if the only way to defeat Griffith is for Guts and Casca to murder their own child? These scenarios would really test the themes of trauma vs moving forward in berserk Whatever ends up happening, I think Griffiths actions these past few chapters have confirmed that his Moonboy phase is indeed a weakness and something that may be the key to stopping him

I got rec'd this video and you reminded me of Tranquil Dionysian, but when I looked up the channel I got yours.

This really feels like a different Berserk, its like we had Miura's dark sketches, and now suddenly we had to change the DVD disk, and it transported us to this new world, Falconia, and the art really compliments the the helix tree, its emanating bright light, and also Mori's is more "flimsy" in comparison. Also Casca wakes up from a dream in this chapter, adding to the atmosphere.

About ruddy time we finally see Casca go 'Berserk'! 4:53 she looks like Guts Post-Eclipse.

Griffith true face is finally getting peeled back to the open. While I agree that the art-style is great, it's different from Miura's. I know it can't be helped, but it's still melancholic. RIP Miura.

Make notice towards the end when Casca sees the water on tub it then transition to her seating next to a doll house. What if she put on a mental prison? And the sequence of her waking up from sleep is a way of a repeating dream cast from that doll house.

Casca no way in hell would wear a dress and pretend to be a noblewoman and be so obedient. In Elfhelm she immediately chose to wear something functional even though she was safe. Casca will try and fight and escape. It's most likely a spell put on by Griffith or Sonia on Casca to keep her in a dream world state. When she wakes up and starts fighting that's for real i think because the guards are there really really fast which means she is heavily guarded all the time. The programing of the spell was interrupted when petals fell in her bath tub and triggered her memory from Elfhelm which always had flower petals blowing in the wind. The real Casca is the one that woke up and chose violence in order to escape and i think it's not her first attempt. She knew right away she was in danger and had to flee.

Griffith takes a trip to Afghanistan and loses to Mujahideen armed with Rickert's stinger missiles.
