It was actually a very fun shoot (like most of David's shoots), and I think it was David Prior's all-time highest budget at like $1.5 Million. We shot in the woods in Mobile, Alabama. I was brought on because the SFX makeup crew was understaffed. The guy who created the monster was David's brother-in-law and the producers were NOT happy with what he had done. I wasn't around for Wilfred Brimely or Powers Boothe, but Leo Rossi was a lot of fun and for any scene where the monster had to "act," David made Leo get into that ridiculous monster suit. And when you were in that thing, you were literally glued into it - it took maybe 45 minutes to get out of it for any reason. My favorite moment of the movie was a bit of unintentional homoeroticism when one of the B-Team grabs Ted Prior and pulls him in close enough to kiss and says "you Special Forces guys are always more mouth than ass!" On set that moment raised a few eyebrows, but David's movies were nothing if not unrelentingly macho. My wife and I still quote that line all the time. I could go on and on. If you have specific questions I'm happy to answer them as best I can.

The space shuttle at 14:49 is called "Pathfinder", and it has a mildly interesting story behind it. It was build out of plywood to help NASA take measurements for the infrastructure involved in the transport and launch of the shuttle. After they finished the measurements, they didn't need it anymore, and Japan asked if they could have it. NASA agreed, but when they got it back, it had been given a full paint job (it had basically just been a wooden shell beforehand). It now sits on display at the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

I'm pretty sure Dom DeLuise reproduces via budding. Many polyps on his skin become fertile when they make their way into his fat folds, and upon fertilization, blossom in the spring and release into the air like pollen. They then find a trash can to act as surrogate and enter the formative pupa stage when they Oscar the Grouch themselves into their new home. Upon creating their cocoon, Dom DeLuise will then find the chrysalis during his weekly foraging, mistaking it for a month old wedding cake. He then brings the child home and, if it is one of few in the clutch that survives Dom's feast, may survive into childhood.

No they aren't the worst comment sections at all. I'd rather read over repetitious memes over and over than the sjw arguing that shows up in most other comment sections

The jokes aren't shitty. If the jokes were shitty, no one would be parroting them. I think it's a hallmark that the Plinket reviews are so loved by the fans that we all understand, want to relive, and endlessly regurgitate the same joke. This is our hive-mind. Whether or not it's funny (and it isn't) is sort of moot. And hell, I'll take the same in-joke ad nauseam over say... Achievement Hunter fans constantly whining about everything, or Pewdiepie fans being rabid 12 year olds, or Kripparian fans (or basically anyone with a largely stream-based audience) spouting Twitch memes and typing out Twitch emotes in every post... there are MUCH worse on KZfaq than this place.

For anyone who gives a shit, yeah Dom DeLouise had multiple kids, one of them was one of the main directors of the tv show Stargate SG-1, another was the guy who played Samantha's fiancee. This is also why there's one episode of SG-1 where Dom DeLouise just shows up for no reason.
@vertexedgeface31417 жыл бұрын

Now that Wilford Brimley has died this episode has some added nostalgia factor to me, now it will always remind me of two of funniest scenes he is in, when Blair goes apeshit in The Thing and Macready beats him with some wacky punch sound effects included and when Tom Cruise's character in The Firm beats Wilford's character with a suitcase.

The funniest line in the whole Dom DeLuise madness that happens around the 42:00 min mark is when Jay says "Dom DeLuise is not playing racquetball." I about died. Dom DeLuise would not be caught dead playing racquetball. There are no buffets in racquetball. Outdoor tennis may occasionally have a catering truck nearby.
