I think that what Patrice o'neal meant to say was that if it seems that a woman hates you for no apprent reason at all, it may be that that it's her way of saying "I like you". I have had women initially express hatred and anger towards me upon meeting them for the first time for no apparent reason, only to find out later that they have a crush on me. And I think that this is the key when someone "hates" you, just play it cool and go about your business like it's just another glorious day.
