First time view, now a subscribed fan! Your synopsis entirely hits everything right on the nail. We can only HOPE that we get a PROPER person to take on the Mantle of Responsibility. Halo Infinite has a finite life, obviously, but we all know they CAN turn it around. I couldn't give Halo 5 any chance, I watched a playthrough on KZfaq and just... no. Halo 4 was still questionable, but still plenty of fun! 343 HAS potential! The Halo Show... well... we hoped and hoped and hoped, and they never showed us, but we heard... and well... I couldn't even finish Episode 1... I criticized everything. Like when MC picked up the chain-gun, he THREW DOWN HIS RIFLE! MC ALWAYS carries two base weapons, between 1-2 rifles, 2 sidearms, or 1 rifle and 1 sidearm... he still threw down his ONE rifle, didn't even BOTHER to holster it on his back, and a few moments later, ran out of ammo for the chain gun... Then they also demoted MIRANDA KEYES from a CAPTAIN of her own badass FRIGATE to a .... medical officer, who SOMEHOW is in charge of PR/HR????? Forget the "black facing", they just made everything WORSE... not to mention Doctor Halsey was, more or less, a narcissist, with only a base affection for SOME of the spartans, like Jorge in the game.... in the show... ohhhhh~ suddenly she has emotions for EVERYBODY! Hope to keep seeing more of your content in the future, Jelly!

She was fired yet unlike normal employees. I know big companies and higher ups bending the rules. Anyway CEO and other higher ups get a choice. Stand down and get fired. Which will effect them their ability to get a job. Specially in leadership so don’t be surprise. That we see her again in some other gaming studio or something else. Still I’m glad she’s gone but 343 still stands. Which is bad it has to go and halo can’t be saved.

Honestly hit the nail on the head with the broader audience crap they've been trying with Halo. It truly feels like 343 has been trying to shake off the classic fans since the start. Launching Halo 4 before Halo Reach even got 3 years in the spotlight really was the first of countless betrayals.

I completely agree with your point at 10:00. All media in current year is constantly being churned and shredded time and time again to generate any and all amounts of money the producer can think, the problem is expectation meets reality and falls off. HARD. Halo has fallen quite hard, 343 never had the spirit and now the intellect to understand what they have. Its a shame the Halo legacy is being squashed. I cant wait til Halo Reborn releases and shows these fakes how to do Halo right.

1:06 - yeah I had the same reaction as Johnson. The story since 343i has gotten halo has been a mess not at all faithful to what has come before. There have been a few cool concepts and good ideas sprinkled in but not well executed. Don't know how you are going to defend that "343i hasn't necessarily done a bad job in regards to the story of Halo" Cannot find the video defending this. is that even still coming?
