Halsin’s voice coming out of the bear is so funny 😭 Aylin is hands down the most stunning character in this game. I had a feeling you'd adore her. And the music that plays when she’s freed is sooooo good 😍

Yeah! Aasimar is basically a Half-Angel. The nightsong is the daughter of Selune hence "spill selunite blood".

That fight with Balthazar is difficult and frustrating. After my first playthrough, I started killing him in his lair where you first meet him just to avoid all this. The Aylin scene is amazing. I look forward to you seeing some things that are still coming 😈

LOL congrats at 1:10:45 with the roll Kim. Just so you know, even if you fail the persuasion check - your companion will make their own decision based on their relationship with you and what you taught them. So theres a good chance Shadowheart may not have killed Nightsong even if you failed to pursuade her or let her make her own decision.

So glad to see this moment! I'm so glad you were able to talk Shadowheart into doing the right thing. She doesn't have Sharran values, really. Her trying to be Sharran is her trying to be something she's not-in ignorance of what Shar has taken from her. You get the key lore on Shar and Selûne very early-they are sisters, and whatever one has, the other has a claim to. The narrator alludes to the fact that Shadowheart's powers, her magic, in actuality comes from a divine source. If a cleric's god decides to cut them off, like Shar just did to Shadowheart, they should no longer have access to the magical abilities they had before. But even though you haven't been in another fight with Shadowheart yet, you will notice she still has power. So, which god favors her now? Interesting, isn't it? (As an aside, Shar and Selûne's squabbling is petty as all get out. Shar is the worst of them, certainly, but even if she's over here trying to steal her sister's toys and kill her daughters for spite, Selûne is still playing the game treating people like toys to fight over. You know she's laughing at Shar in the godly plane or whatever over what just happened.) But I do absolutely agree it's a stunning and incredibly satisfying scene. Look forward to the showdown with Ketheric!

I love that scene with the Nightsong if u convince Shadowheart to turn from Shar. The music, the accent into the air, the light spreading over the land. So freaking awesome. Don't forget to bring Wyll as u return to Moonrise, still have to rescue that devil after all. Great video as always.

The scene with Aylin is just amazing. By far one of my top 3 favorite scenes in this entire game (One of then being a Durge only one, and the other, well, you'll be seeing it here in the next episode or two)

YesyesyesyesYEEESS!!!! I have been looking forward to your reaction to THIS moment for MONTHS now! Such an insanely cool scene! This is in my top 10 gaming moments, right along with stuff like the Sovereign reveal in ME1 or curing the Genophage in 3. This is where it went from being a game I was enjoying and having fun with, to being a game I LOVE.

Outstanding episode Kim 👏. That battle at the end was intense. The whole ending with the nightingale and shadowheart was amazing. I can't wait to see the next episode. 😊

This was great, Kim! 🎉This scene was so meaningful when i saw the first time. Larian made two great scenes in their games. This one and Lohse final quest in Divinity II.

‏‪1:07:26‬‏ in my first playthrough iwas worried and scared so much because i was romancing her and idid know killing nightsong is wrong thing i wasn't lucky in dice roll shadow heart threatened me she attack me and kill me for lady shar and ididn't want lose her i said do what you want and i suprise when she talk nightsong she refuses to kill nightsong iwas proud of her

Ah, finally the big moment. By the way, that 30 persuasion check... you don't have to do it. Game does try to encourage you to trust Shadowheart. If you do (and if you've been nice to her, which you have), she will decide herself to defy Shar and spare Nightsong. Can't wait for next couple of episodes. Probably my favourite part of the game coming up.
