Grant it, she could have just gone to the waiter herself or another employee and asked for the bill to be divided and had her cash, app, check or card actively ready. Maybe she didn’t want to hurt his pride because she could sense that he was really interested, although she clearly wasn’t. Before even seeing her notice the waiter, I could tell at the bar that she was not interested in Brock. Going through with the date was leading him on, and her giving her number to the waiter while on a date was downright disrespectful to Brock. Brooke’s karma will come!

yes! I have a couple of degrees but the one thing I learned from University is that the dumbest people I have ever met were at University. A lot of university students just work like machines on one task very well and they can not think for themselves, they require others to think for them and tell them what to do. She wasn't shopping around. Shopping is like if she was initially attracted to Brock, then saw the waiter and decided to trade up. That's not what this was. She was immediately attracted to the waiter, and she simply wasn't attracted to Brock right off the bat. That's not shopping.
