Fun fact! Nimrod is great hunter from mythology, but bugs bunny used it to refer to a dumb hunter in the cartoon so now nimrod is often used to mean dumb in the united states.

there is a charm to regen HP, and another thing that does some regen when hit. exploring the map is actually important, you get magnets from towers, more gun blueprints from chests and missions, there are mutiple biomes with some enemy variation, and you need to get the robot (from exploring you were at it at 23:45 or so) to unlock more things (you buy the guns from him so yeah..gotta explore) special is another not gun or explosive related, so basically anything blue will usually scale off it as do "on hit do X" (icr what it's from, but it gets crazy) but more importantly, with high special your level ups do insane amounts of damage and if you time it right you can hit the towers at roughly the same time as a boss is on your and just kinda delete them also check the "more info" thing on your level ups, it'll show what they upgrade to so you can plan your builds abit better and underbarrel is always your alt attack, recharge rate improves it, on turrets specifically? afaik it's worthless due to the way it recharges (it might, but i would doubt it tbh)

That pistol started out slow than it became an full blown gatling gun at the end thats pretty wild

Gotta save the robot to get new guns which is what you spend meta currency on right away. The map has different spawn points that you can unlock. Differing environments as well.

If you hold shift before picking an upgrade you can see the whole upgrade tree for that branch

Reto. I agree with your opinion. This genre is starting to get real old real fast. It’s just like everyone trying to make a dark souls clone or a battle royale. I would prefer we go back to people being original with ideas and not just trend chasing.

Kind of tired of the vampire survivor style games, but this one certainly has a cool upgrade system.

Been playing this for a couple of weeks now. Yeah its a VS clone(ish) but I like the look of it and the game play/crafting is fun. I'm hooked

So, if you want healing items, you have to hunt down those phallic looking cacti and shoot them, and the drop rates are pretty consistent. For example, first drop zone up top that one on the lower right seems to always drop healing. So just blast every cacti you see and if it drops healing circle strafe the area till you get dinged. Pick up the heal and track down another. And if you "catch" the level up it doesn't kill the mobs. ***** I'm typing this ten minutes in so I'm sure you'll figure this out later. You end up getting a drone companion that you give your hand me down weapons to. That weapon levels up the exact same way as the mods you picked, and in the same order I think. So when you see "your partner gets .01 dmg per kill," that means that when you're using it your drone will get better. But if you give that gun to your drone, that means every time the drone kills something *your* gun gets better. Like a constant buff. So don't just sell your gun off for credits if you make something broken OP. Keep "the best one" of each type. So if you want to do crowd control you can give your drone high damage. Or vice versa, let your drone handle mobs while you go for high crit/damage.

The survivor clones definitely feel tedious. I feel like theres so much more potential for this idea with something more scavenger and base oriented. Going on runs, salvaging parts, bringing it home. The meta progression being upgrading your tools, workbenches, whatevery system enables the improving of the guns. Even having multiple and getting to store them back at base, bring different guns for different types of runs. The implementation in this game is just, so bland imo. Kinda feels like pointless trend chasing ruining what couldve been an awesome concept.
