Six years ago, my hometown club had relegated out of the BiH Premier League after 10 seasons in the elite and what followed was hell for the club as we have struggled financially and were barely kept alive and breathing. At that point it seemed like we would never go back up and the reality had settled in that we were always going to be a mediocre side in domestic football (mind you, we made quite a number of fascinating results in the former Yugoslavia, but we were far from grace after the Bosnian War) With the massive backing by the supporters and the new leadership, we made a complete 180 and slowly made our way out of the relegation zone in the second tier before reaching 3rd place the season after in order to finally escape the second tier from a third attempt. Since our return we have secured 3rd place finish granting us our first Euro trip after 33 years where we had eliminated Greek giants AEK Athens and this season we have lifted the domestic cup securing another return to European football this summer. All this in a span of 6 years... What I wanted to say with this is that the relegation isn't the end of the World, but a fantastic opportunity to make your own 180. It may take awhile, but I'll be following you guys in hopes of you returning to the EPL once again one day in the near future. An end of an era to set the start for the beginning of another ;)

As an American Burnley fan (yes we exist) I was absolutely gutted yesterday. It was the worst I’ve ever felt after a football (soccer) match minus the USA debacle against Trinidad and Tobago. I was sick to my stomach all day but your perspective gave me a lot of hope about our future. Definitely gonna be a change watching Burnley in the Championship but I’ll take the silver lining out of it and hopefully we’ll bounce back up next season!

Your situation reminds me of Bournemouth’s when we were relegated. Long serving manager leaves, relegated on the last day, big players will be going etc. Championship is very fun for relegated sides if your club gets it right (obviously)

As a Crystal Palace fan, I am deeply sorry for seeing this happen to Burnley. Being relegated is a very difficult time as I have personally seen countless times with my club. But on the bright side of things, you can use this season in the championship to rebuild and focus on the aspects of the team's wants and neccessities. Burnyl will be back up, do what I did with Palace, just give them some time and they will return to top flight football sooner than later.

Probably completely wrong but the reason I worry about Burnley coming back is your record in the cups is terrible where you have regularly played teams a division or 2 below you. I get you didn’t play your best team every time but teams like Blackpool, Bristol city and Sunderland (many more will do the same) will just sit back and counter attack you and see if you can break them down and with cornet and McNeill probably leaving, unless you spend decent money on attacking midfielders and wingers I don’t see you coming back up. Hope I’m wrong though as I don’t mind bloody Burnley.

I understand the issues with VAR but the reason I back it is because Refs are human and CANNOT perfectly see every call and I don’t want a team losing a title or being relegated because of a bad call on the field. Not even gonna hate or anything, I love this channel, but bro I would take Maxi Cornet at Chelsea all day especially for 17.5m considering he can play a wing back role and can equally play as a striker. He’s the ultimate utility man besides the fact that he can’t play @ CB, but that’s fine. I would also immediately take James Tarkowski and Dwight Mcneil but I don’t wanna rub salt into the wound mate👍🏼. On the real tho, I rate a lot of burnley’s players. Guys like Mathew Lowton and Charlie Taylor imo are really good and sometimes brilliant. I think teams like Everton could do well with those, or whatever if they plan to leave. Like I said in my previous comment on yesterday’s video; I think this is a blessing in disguise and if you guys manage to keep a lot of your players, then good, but if you don’t, then also good. I think selling some and using that money to pay off the debt as well as use the academy talent or young talent in general, whilst keeping some experienced guys to help them out, it just benefits you guys so much and it’s the championship, I love the league but you could play a whole lot of bang average players and then have 1-2 really good ones, and you’ll get automatic promotion. That’s just how the championship works tbh. I think you guys are fine, you just have to do the business right in the summer with maybe 1-2 decent signings if you sell the likes of Cornet and others, especially Weghorst who could cost another club around 20-30m considering his quality.
