This wreck is not very well-known so I figured I'd talk about it.
On November 19, 1977 Amtrak's Southwest Limited #4 collided with a truck at Delhi, Colorado. The truck was not at a crossing and made it easier to derail the train. The truck was deliberately parked on the tracks while the occupants were stealing railroad ties that would later be used for a maintenance project. Thankfully everyone on board survived.
