Camper diesel heater turn up to 8Kw or down to 0.8Hz

Not many people know the settings in the engineering mode You can turn down the heat to 0.8Hz so once up to temperature it slow right down to a trickle. Also you can turn th pulse up from 5.4Hz, right up to as high as 8.0Hz Also alter the max & minimum speeds of the heater blower fan.

Hi Steve, I have the same heater as you and was messing about with the settings and got to do as you did. Because so many people post mixed up info sometimes, I was a bit nervous having it so low as it was mentioned that the heaters can clog up on 0.8 HZ, but the 2 things that I am concerned about is the casing temperature close to the control module just under the lid. Also, one guy said that if the indicatoers go below the yellow they can flame out, but mine didn't! Your video is clear and no nonsense so I am glad you did the whole thing. Mine ticks over nicely at 1.4 into the living room, and with my settings I can go up to 5.9 on full. I might try full wack lol and try it up to 8 HZ. My remote control battery is a 27a. and it cost me £1.20 ish.

I knew I had something to do today. Battery for remote. Thanks. The reason I've turned down the hz was the temp in workshop still rose on 1.4. Just in there now so will keep an eye on slow speed. Cheers Gordon. Regards HNY. Steve.

eyup Steve Great Info, like the electric comparison, don't think i will be able to turn mine down to the bare bones because of area to heat, so will just leave at factory settings, i think on factory minimum it's about 100ml per hour so thats 10 hours for a litre, supposedly!!! so on red diesel its only 12 p per hour, well thats the theory anyway and i'm still on a learning curve with these beasts!!! normal settings on mine is 1.7 to 5.2, going to mess around with setting soon to get it lower

I hope that works out ok . It should do. Once my shop is up to temp I have to crank it low or the room gets too hot. Steve.

Well i did some changes to mine but from comments put it more or less back to standard. They work brilliantly out of the box. Steve.

has anyone run it on 8.0 without a issue..awesome video..I might be looking to go 6.0 on cold days but thats the max living in New england.

Mine only goes to 5.8 max. After a year of running it I have had no problems with it at all. Once the shop is warmed up I drop to my min of 1.8hz. At 5.8 it is impossible to put your hand in front of the vent, very hot. Steve.

Idiotik. Lowest at 1.2hz minimum and topp 3.6hz. If you dont want to clogs it up every veek

I do agree to point. I have since raised the low limit back to origonal. I think the high is set at 5.6 with fan speed slightly higher. Thanks for the comment. Much appreciated . Steve.

@@eivindlindefjell5602 Hello . I did find it too undertemp at the low setting. Now min setting at 1.1 to try out. I have reduced the max way down to 5.0. Steve
