@JRPGFan20000 Was Sarah that much younger than Joseph? I don't think they ever specify her age when they met, and there's no info on her age in her bio on memory alpha. She certainly looks younger than him in their photo, but not that much. I'd guess that he was in his early 40's, she in her late 20s / early 30s

@JRPGFan20000 Apparently not - don't know why I didn't check this earlier, but according to memory alpha he was born in 2309, and met Sarah in 2331, which means he was 22 when they met. He definitely looks older than that in their picture, but there we have it.

@@glytchd It could also be more of a loose confederation akin to the EU also. That said it does clearly have more authority than the EU does for instance it seemingly has the right to claim police power over the members territory at least for a limited time under emergency powers (United Earth declares martial law and grants Starfleet security police powers to the entire world at one point). This is something that a looser confederation like the EU that has no authority to directly police anyone in the territory of any member state under any circumstances could not do. But it could still be looser than the United States for example where the federal government has the right to make some things criminal offences and start arresting people over the explicit objection of that state see pretty much any time the DEA decides to raid a state licenced and regulated dispensary for an example. If the EU were to try that then they would promptly find the agents they sent being arrested for kidnapping and false imprisonment as random people that are not law enforcement arresting people for non crimes is a serious crime. In the case of the EU the only thing it can really do if a member isn't following it's obligations is threaten to suspend their membership, or actually go through with it but usually the threat alone works as having that rug pulled out from under you suddenly without time to prepare is going to be a lot more painful than fixing the problem.

I like the nature sounds while you’re outdoors it provides ambience. But when you’re doing the VO on the video it feels a little more hollow. Maybe even keep the ambient nature sounds flowing through the whole VO? So it flows together?
