Depends on your bow and/or how you shoot it. A lot of archers accept Archer's Paradox and will worry about arrow spine and things like that. They forget that there's more than just "western archery." The Comanche created a bow with a "half nock" on the top limb, in which they only cut 1 slightly larger groove instead of the usual 2. This makes the string go diagonal down the bow and so in the middle of the bow, the arrow behaves as if it as closer to the center, carving inward to make a grip causes it to become almost like a center shot bow. This was especially useful in nearly point blank shots where normally the bending of the arrow shaft would cause accuracy to be all over the place but they were able to ride up alongside a buffalo and fire accurate, powerful close range shots into them, mere feet away. Asian thumb release, Slavic and Saracen archery shoot on the right side of the bow, the mechanics of which eliminate paradox. Korean archers were known for being deadly accurate even when using their enemies' arrows, including broken arrows.

U can make more arrows with less fletchings plus it looks nice.

@@Daylon91 Yea, true. Just thought there may have been something more to it considering how many other tribes made 3 fletch arrows. And it isn't all that hard to get feathers.

@@legacy1776sibes it's easier to make two fletched arrows as well I just made three 3 fletched and one 2 fletched. With a two fletched arrow it's easier to get the angle of the feathers right only being 2 having to line up.
